For four days, 23 facilitators from Chuadanga and Rangpur came together to refresh, reflect, and reimagine their role in advancing green entrepreneurship through the ๐‘๐ž๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐…๐š๐œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ (๐‘๐…๐ƒ๐–) under the ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ง๐ž๐œ๐ญ: ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐†๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐„๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ (๐˜๐†๐„๐ƒ) project.

Participants from WAVE Foundation, Democracywatch, and SERAC-Bangladesh strengthened their knowledge, skills, and confidence to better support young people in building sustainable enterprises. The residential learning experience was hosted at Dream Square Resort, Gazipur.

By bringing facilitators together, the workshop enhanced participantsโ€™ ability to understand climate action, nurture green entrepreneurship, and equip youth with the skills needed to build sustainable livelihoods.

Through interactive learning and collaboration, facilitators deepened their understanding of ๐œ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž, ๐ฌ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ž ๐๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ. Sessions covered key areas such as ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ž ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง, ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ž๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐š๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ, ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ -๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ ๐›๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ. Altogether, the workshop strengthened ๐ฉ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฌ๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐œ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐๐ž ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐  ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ toward ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐›๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ.

The Youth Green Entrepreneurship Development Project, under the ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ง๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž, aims to equip young people with leadership and entrepreneurship skillsโ€”including green entrepreneurshipโ€”to foster entrepreneurial thinking and ambition among youth, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable future.

We recently conducted several sessions in Dhaka as part of the British Council Partner Schools ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ (๐‚๐๐ƒ) ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž.

This year, around ๐Ÿญ,๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ teachers from ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฌ schools across Bangladesh are participating in this initiative. Teachers who completed the Classroom Management course through our Online Support for Schools platform were selected for face-to-face sessions on Formative Assessment.

Led by British Council Master Trainers Sana Shahid, Iffat Ara Khanam, Murshida Begum, and Fazle Muniem, the sessions focused on effective assessment techniques, understanding student learning, and promoting inclusive classroom practices.

The programme also encourages collaboration and will recognise outstanding participants with Special Recognition Awards later this year.
