📚 **𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟏 - 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞**

Greetings, fellow researchers! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 I have seen many types of need to publish a research paper in a peer-reviewed scientific journal amongst people in our country. Let that be from making one's profile strong enough to apply for a foreign degree to get a promotion in their current job. There are people who even possess publishable data, but the problem they all face is the inability to write a research paper.

As a public health researcher with 15 scientific publications, I'm Miah MD Akiful Haque, MPH, from Bangladesh, and I'm excited to kick off this series to share insights on writing a compelling research article.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟏: 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞

First of all, you need to title your study. In most cases, you need to write a proposal first to get your study approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB). So, choosing a title is the first step. Your title will guide you to start writing your proposal or manuscript. The title is changeable based on your study findings later, however, a working title will guide you to reach to your findings. So, first choose your study subject, the people, other living things, or the object you will study. If you already have the data, you already have your subject. However, if you are starting from scratch, choose a subject that is mostly accessible to you. For example, If you are a student, think of the people whom you can survey most easily. This has to be a group of 300-400 people. Once you have your subject, it's time to review the literature. You will try to find the contemporary studies that have been done on your subject. Your goal is to find the literature gap. Once you find the literature gap, you will base your title on that.
