34th National Athletics Championships: The vigorous athletes of Daffodil International University showed an outstanding performance in the 34th National Athletics Championships of Bangladesh, held in the year 2009. DIU achieved 3rd position in this national event with 4 gold and 3 bronze. The Gold Medal Winners of DIU were: Ms. Hazera Akhter (Shot Put), Mr. Enamul Haque (5000m), Ms. Hazera Akhter (Javelin Throw) & Ms. Sathi Parveen (High Jump).
