As the blessed month of Dhul-Hijjah ushers in a new dawn, we celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid-Al-Adha. On this day of sacrifice, the prophet Ibrahim (AS) was called upon to show his devotion to Allah. As his legacy, we continue this tradition through our celebration of this holy day, where sacrifice is taught and practised, happiness is found through giving and receiving, and above all, kindness perseveres.

BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC) wishes everyone a heartfelt Eid Mubarak! We hope this Eid strengthens the bonds between our brothers and sisters, illuminating the path to peace and success in our futures. May this memorable occasion bring you and your families endless serenity and happiness in your hearts!

The Season 04 of the most thrilling “Intra EEE Football Tournament” hosted by BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC) just concluded leaving everyone buzzing with great excitement.

On 1st May 2026 the East Court Arena was packed with a joyous and cheering crowd and players playing their hearts out. The players fiercely competed leaving everyone breathless with an overflow of excitement battling from 10am to 7:30pm. Among the eight teams participating, the Semi-Final round featured matches between Silicon Squad vs Circuit Breaker, and Team Kamikaze vs Short Circuit FC. As both matches tied at the end with 0-0, the excitement was electric as we watched the penalty shootouts. Finally, Silicon Squad and Short Circuit FC advanced to the Finale. The thrill of excitement reached its peak as the final match also finished at 0-0 which took us to penalties creating the thrill of suspense very high. And taking the suspense to the climax, Short Circuit FC became our champion.

A huge shout out to Short Circuit FC for their spectacular victory. A special thanks to our referee Aranya Khan, for his time and unwavering energy throughout. May Day is a holiday with a very storied history.

This holiday originally started off as a European Spring Festival but overtime it gained significance as The International Workers' Day or Labour day. The holiday commemorates the efforts and struggles of the common working people, from the rickshaw pullers on the streets to the tireless garment workers.

Due to the significant number of blue-collar workers in Bangladesh this holiday holds a palpable weight among the people. This day is symbolic for the people who toil away tirelessly day in and day out to support their families on meager daily wages. This day reminds us to be grateful for our lot in life and to respect the hardworking people who were not as fortunate as us. On this day, BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC), shows immense respect to those hardworking people.

On the 21st of April, the BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC) proudly hosted Automatize Spring 2026, our much-awaited orientation program to welcome the newest members into the family.

The evening began with a warm Bangla Noboborsho greeting, setting a festive mood. BUEEC then showed their support towards Palestine and carried a moment of solidarity by maintaining a one-minute silence followed by a powerful short video reflecting on Bangladesh’s 2024 Revolution. Then, a video showcased BUEEC’s journey and achievements over the years. Later, a special video introduced the panel members, directors, and assistant directors, setting the stage for the freshers to meet the people behind the club’s vision.

Directors and Assistant Directors shared inspiring words with the newcomers, offering guidance and encouragement as they embark on their journey with BUEEC. The cultural segment featured a mix of Bangla songs and even an English performance, something not often seen in club orientations, complemented by lively dance performances that kept the energy high.

Our respected Advisor, Mohaimenul Islam Sir, graced the event with his valuable words, reminding students that his door is always open for advice, support, and meaningful conversations.

The evening concluded with a lively group photoshoot, capturing the spirit of togetherness and marking the beginning of an exciting chapter for our freshers.

Automatize may have ended, but the spark it ignited will continue to shine through the ideas, creativity, and passion of our new members. Welcome aboard!

Beyond being a visionary, Sir Fazle Hasan Abed revolutionized the idea of serving humankind. In the wake of the Bangladesh Liberation War, he resigned from his lucrative career in corporate businesses and founded BRAC in 1972 with the vision of rebuilding the lives broken down by war. This humanitarian effort evolved to become one of the biggest NGOs in the world that has uplifted millions of people worldwide.

Sir Fazle's incredible contributions have earned him international recognition, including his knighthood by the British Crown in 2010 and numerous awards, including the World Food Prize, Spanish Order of Civil Merit, and Yidan Prize.

On the occasion of his 90th birthday, the BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC) expresses its utmost respect to this visionary leader whose ideas continue to resonate with generations. We are proud inheritors of his ideology who pledge to serve humanity with purpose and responsibility.
