Congratulations to Prof. Brig. Gen (Retd) Dr Md. Lutfor Rahman. Welcome to our City University family.

Prof. Brig. Gen (Retd) Dr. Md. Lutfor Rahman was The Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST), Saidpur, from January 2018 to December 2020. He has served in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for more than 12 years in different capacities including Dean of the faculty . Hope his contribution will help City University to achieve its goal and his guidance will trek students to the right path.

Faculty of Agriculture & Bachelor of Science in Agriculture(Hon's)program is approved by University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) on 6th August 2019. Academic courses & activities will start on Coming Spring-2020 semester. Its dual semester in a year.

After getting the approval of Agriculture, City University has 4(four) Faculty. They are:
1. Faculty of Business Administration.
2. Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences.
3. Faculty of Science & Engineering.
4. Faculty of Agriculture.
