আজ UITS Civil Engineering Alumni Association এর প্রতিনিধিদের সাথে UITS ICT Cell ও IQAC এর এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
সভায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সামগ্রিক উন্নয়ন, এলামনাই কমিটির কার্যক্রম, ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনা এবং এলামনাই সদস্যদের সুযোগ-সুবিধা আরও বিস্তৃত করার উপায় নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করা হয়। উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সাইন্স ও ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং অনুষদের ডিন ইঞ্জিনিয়ার ড. মোঃ রাশেদুল হাসান, সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের প্রধান মহিউদ্দীন আহমেদ, প্রক্টর জনাব মো: তারিকুল ইসলাম এবং আইসিটি সেলের অতিরিক্ত পরিচালক জনাব মো: সাব্বির হাওলাদারসহ অন্যান্য সম্মানিত ব্যক্তিবর্গ।

আজকের সভায় এলামনাই এসোসিয়েশনের পক্ষ থেকে উপস্থিত এলামনাই এসোসিয়েশনের কমিটির সম্মানিত সভাপতি মোঃ সজল হক , সহ-সভাপতি শাকিল আল সুমন, সাংঠনিক সম্পাদক মোঃ মোসাব্বের হোসেন, কোষাদক্ষ আদনান জেসগির রাজু, তথ্য ও প্রযুক্তি বিষয়ক সম্পাদক মোঃ সাফাত আল আরাফাত সহ অন্যান্য সম্মানিত সদস্যবৃন্দ।

এ আলোচনায় পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধি এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়–এলামনাই সংযোগ আরও মজবুত করার প্রতিশ্রুতি পুনর্ব্যক্ত করা হয়।

মহান আল্লাহ তাআলার অশেষ রহমত ও করুণায় পবিত্র ঈদের এই আনন্দঘন মুহূর্ত আমাদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয় ঈমান, ত্যাগ ও ধৈর্যের মহৎ শিক্ষা।
রমজানের সাধনা আমাদের জীবন, পরিবার, সমাজ ও কর্মক্ষেত্রে উন্নতি, সৌহার্দ্য ও ইতিবাচক অগ্রগতির প্রেরণা হয়ে উঠুক।

মহান আল্লাহ তাআলা আমাদের সকল ইবাদত ও রমজানের রোজা কবুল করুন এবং আমাদের জীবন ভরে দিন তাঁর রহমত, বরকত ও শান্তিতে।

Department of Civil Engineering, UITS warmly welcomes the joining of the newly appointed Dean ( Faculty of Science and Engineering, UITS) Prof. Dr. Engr. Md Rashidul Hasan.

The Department of Civil Engineering, University of Information Technology and Sciences, is pleased to announce the joining of a new faculty member and Dean, marking a significant step in strengthening our academic team. The Head of the Department, Md. Mohiuddin Ahmed along with all faculty members, extended a cordial welcome on January 20, 2026.

Rashidul Hasan Sir holds a solid academic background in civil engineering, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Master’s degree from a reputed public university. His area of specialization includes water resources, environmental engineering, and sustainable infrastructure, supported by professional training and applied research experience. They have been actively engaged in teaching and scholarly work, with contributions to peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

The new Dean brings practical insight from involvement in engineering consultancy, field based projects, and academic program development. Their experience in curriculum delivery, student mentoring, and research supervision is expected to add immediate value to the department’s academic and professional environment.

The department is confident that their expertise, discipline, and research orientation will enrich the learning environment for students and reinforce our collective academic capacity. We look forward to constructive collaboration, scholarly growth, and shared institutional progress.

The Department of Civil Engineering wishes them a productive and impactful journey at UITS and extends full support for their professional development through mutual assistance and academic cooperation.
