The award will be automatically awarded once the applicant has paid their deposit within the 28 day deadline outlined in their offer email.

To be considered, applicants need to hold an offer of a place to study on a postgraduate course starting in September 2024. Students will be required to pay the course deposit of £5,000 within 28 days of the date of the offer. .



Eligibility -

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Hold a minimum 2:1 or above or an equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate degree
Have an offer from us to study one of our postgraduate taught courses starting in September 2024
Be classed as an overseas fee-paying student
Pay a £5,000 course deposit by Wednesday, 31 July 2024
Those not eligible for these Scholarships:.

Applicants NOT classed as Overseas for fees purposes, based on the UK government regulations or those with an unresolved fee status.
Applicants who are not fully self-funded and are being sponsored by a Government or external body.
The award is not available to Postgraduate Research applicants (i.e. PhD, MPhil).
Applicants who will NOT commence their course in September 2024 (2024/25 academic year), this includes deferred entry month and year.
Applicants entering a course with Brunel Pathway College (BPC) or who are progressing to a Brunel course from an BPC course..
Applicants holding an offer to study by Distance Learning.
Applicants holding offers to study on a part-time programme.
Applicants holding offers to study on an online learning programme.
Students who have previously studied with Brunel University London or those that have been in receipt of a Brunel International Scholarship previously, either as part of current or earlier studies are not eligible..

Which Students can have dependants?
You can have dependants with you in the UK if:

You are in receipt of an award from a government and your course is full-time and at least six months. [NOTE: If you are refused immigration permission on the basis that your award is not a 'scholarship' or does not cover your full fees and living costs, you have the opportunity to pursue an administrative review on the basis that the Immigration Rules only require that you are in receipt of an award from a government (with no specification of the amount of the award). We recommend you seek advice from your institution or seek legal advice about this, and we cannot guarantee the success of any administrative review on this basis]; OR
You are doing a postgraduate level full-time course of 9 months or longer at a 'higher education provider' with a 'track record of compliance' (see 'Definitions'). If you are applying for immigration permission after 3pm on 17 July 2023 for a postgraduate course that starts on or after 1 January 2024, you can only have dependants in the UK (in this category) if, in addition to the other criteria, your institution has confirmed that your course is a PhD, other doctoral qualification, or a research-based higher degree (see 'Definitions') OR
Your current or most recent immigration permission was as a Student on a full-time course lasting at least six months AND all four bullet points below apply:
your permission is current or expired no more than three months before this immigration application AND
your new immigration application is for a full-time course that is at least six months AND
your dependant:
already has Student dependant immigration permission (or it is the most recent immigration permission that they had, and it expired no more than three months before this application); or
is your child who was born since you were last granted permission AND
you apply for immigration permission at the same time as your dependant

Child Students cannot bring dependants.
