Healthcare providers measure your blood pressure at your yearly check-ups and other appointments. This lets them see if it’s normal or too high. They’ll diagnose you with hypertension if your numbers are high at two separate visits (with at least two readings taken each time).
There are two main stages of hypertension:
Stage 1 means your top number is in the 130s, or your bottom number is in the 80s.
Stage 2 means your top number is 140 or higher, or your bottom number is 90 or higher.
On either end of these stages, there are other categories that providers use to guide treatment decisions:
🔴Elevated blood pressure is blood pressure that’s a bit above normal but not yet diagnosed as hypertension.
🔴Severe hypertension is dangerously high blood pressure that’s not yet causing organ damage.
🔴A hypertensive emergency is dangerously high blood pressure that’s damaging your organs. It causes symptoms and is a medical emergency.

Milk from different animals offers unique characteristics, from fat content to flavor profiles, making them suited for various culinary uses. Cow milk, one of the most common, contains around 4% fat and is produced in large quantities, ranging from 6 to 9 gallons per day. Goat milk, with slightly less fat at 3.5%, has a distinct lemon and limestone flavor and is produced in smaller amounts, typically 0.5 to 0.75 gallons daily. Sheep milk stands out with the highest fat content of 6%, producing 0.3 to 0.6 gallons per day and offering a rich, sweet flavor with hints of caramel and lanolin. These variations in fat content and taste make each type of milk ideal for producing specific cheeses like cheddar, gouda, and Swiss from cow's milk, chèvre from goat's milk, and Manchego and feta from sheep's milk.

Boundaries Aren’t Punishment, They’re Protection
Many people fear boundaries because they mistake them for rejection, arrogance, or cruelty. In truth, boundaries are an act of wisdom and self-respect. They are not walls meant to isolate us, but fences meant to protect what is valuable. Just as a farmer protects his crops from wandering animals, a wise person protects their time, energy, values, and peace. Without boundaries, even good intentions from others can trample your purpose
An old African proverb reminds us:
“He who allows his house to be used as a pathway should not complain when people pass through.”
This proverb speaks directly to boundaries. When you allow everyone unrestricted access to your life, your emotions, resources, or silence, you silently teach them how to treat you. Protection begins the moment you decide what is acceptable and what is not.
History and everyday life are full of lessons from those who failed to set boundaries. Many generous people end up drained, bitter, and resentful, not because they were kind, but because they never said “no.” Some leaders lose authority because they tolerate disrespect. Some families collapse because unhealthy behavior is excused in the name of love. A lack of boundaries invites exploitation, not appreciation. Those who refuse to define limits often become victims of stress, manipulation, and regret.
Boundaries also reveal character, both yours and that of others. When you set a boundary, those who respect you will adjust; those who benefit from your silence will resist. This resistance is not proof that your boundary is wrong; it is proof that it is necessary. Protection sometimes feels uncomfortable, but wisdom is rarely convenient.
Moral:
Setting boundaries is not an act of selfishness but an act of survival and growth. A person who protects their inner peace preserves their future. Remember, you are not obligated to bleed just because others are thirsty. True wisdom knows when to give and when to guard.
