Walking down the rain-soaked streets of medieval Edinburgh’s old town. 🌧️
Since it’s been raining all day, the roads are slightly flooded. Just as evening begins to fall, the golden rays of the setting sun reflect off the puddles, mixing with the colorful lights of the nearby street shops — creating a magical mirror of hues. ✨

Earbuds tucked in, bag slung over my shoulder, I walk along feeling strangely peaceful.
In my ears plays softly —

“If you missed the train I'm on,
You will know that I am gone,
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles…” 🎶

A gentle, soothing breeze brushes against my face again and again — pure and refreshing, untouched by any city poison. I breathe it in deeply, freely.

There’s no rush to return home.
No one’s waiting for me.
Just me, the rain, and the city’s quiet heartbeat..
