7. Students have to submit medical certificate/doctor's prescription/other documents if he or she is absent for sickness more than one day.

8. If a student's attendance rate is less than 90% he or she will not be allowed to take part in the year final exam or Test exam. (condition applied)

Students have to enter into the class after Tiffin period when the bill rings. Actions will be taken if a student leave the college campus during class hour without permission. Students will leave the classrooms without making any noise after the bell rings. Students will inform the guide teacher of any kinds of problems. During class hour do not stay in the common room. Submit your ID card while take any games instrument from common room. Students can study in library anytime without class hour even after class hour. Every student has to use library card to use library. He has to submit library card to collect book. If any fault of any student is noticed, any decision taken by the College Authority according to the rules and regulations of the College will be considered as final. For any serious crime or fault College can force out any student. Every student has to be present regularly and attend all the classes regularly. If any student make any kind of crime, it will be considered as punishable. If needed actions will be taken by notifying the guardian. Political activities is prohibited in the college campus. During class hour no student is allowed to roam around in the campus or corridor. Smoking is completely prohibited in the college campus. Students have to take care of every college property. Students' gentle, nice behavior is expected. Regular presence in the class, calmness and discipline are expected at the time using library, seminar, computer lab and laboratory. If any student destroy and property of college he has compensate double. Rules of using common room. Common room will be open from 8 am to 5 pm. Common can be used during off period and Tiffin period. Indoor game facilities are available in the common room. Student can take game instrument by submitting their ID card. If any instrument is destroyed by anyone he has to pay fine fixed by the college authority. Rules of using Science Lab. Science Lab can be uses from 9 am to 5 pm. Only those student will be able to use lab who will pay lab fee and security deposit. No can take any instrument to home from science lab. Every one has to be present in the practical class according to the class routine. Students have to carry the expenditure of back-up class for their absence. If any one cause any harm to science lab he has to pay fine fixed by the college authority. Rules of using library

Library can be used from 9am to 5pm. Only those student will be able to use library who will pay library fee and security deposit. Library card has to be collected from the librarian to use the library. Students will be allowed to keep the issued book in their home for 7 days. If any student is unable to submit the issued book on due date he has to pay fine 5 take per day. If any one cause any harm to the issued book he has to compensate for the book. Students have to submit their bags to the librarian while entering into the library. Admission
Students form Science/Arts/Commerce can get admitted in Western College. Admission process starts just after SSC result publication. Information regarding admission are notified by advertisement in the daily newspapers. Students have to collect Admission form from College office by fixed price and have to submit to the college office in due date. Below listed papers have to be submitted during admission:

Academic transcription of SSC Examination. Main and photocopy of Registration Card and Admit Card of SSC Examination. Testimonial from last Institute.

8 copies of passport size and 3 copies of stamp size recent photographs of student.

2 copies of passport size photographs of parents. Only finally selected students will be allowed to get admitted. Percentage of Attendance
Probability of good result in the final exam depends on the regular attendance in the class. Students attendance is seriously observed by Western College and Every student's attendance rate should be at-least 90%. Otherwise students may not be selected for next year's promotion or for participation in the final exam. At the same time they have to pay fine. Uniform
Students will come to the college wearing college uniform. Students will not be allowed to enter into the class room if he wears out dress. Description of Uniform. Boys: white shirt with logo, black pant, black tie with logo, black leather shoe. Girls: white with logo, black pajama, black , black scarf with logo, black leather shoe. Boys/Girls: In winter season black colored coat. ID Card:
Students have to take their ID card regularly and have to hang in the neck. For ID card 150 tk and stamp size photograph will be collected from every student during admission. Students have to collect ID card from college office before starting class in 1st Semester. If the ID card is lost students have to make a GD in the police station and collect the ID card by paying the fee again. Vacation/Leave
For vacation/leave Academic Calendar will be followed according to the Government Calendar. The principal can approve or cancel any leave. For additional leave student can submit application by taking approval from Guardian. In this respect a student can take 10% leave in a semester. Exam
Participating in the exam is compulsory for every student. Even if he is sick he has to participate in the exam in sick-bed. Library & Laboratory
Students have to try to keep calm & quietness in the library & laboratory. Students have to pay 500 tk for library and 500 tk for laboratory as security deposit. Computer Lab & Internet

Students have to use typing and & short hand center abiding specific rules. Board Final Exam
Students have to fulfil following conditions for participating in the board final exam. Presence in every subject has to be at least 90%. Students have to participate in every exam and have to get 50% marks in every subject. There can not be any disciplinary complaint against anyone. All tuition fees has to be paid.
