𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 :
Today, we live in the age of technology and everyone of us seems to have a smartphone in our hands. We use a lot of apps on a regular basis to make our life easier. I personally use many apps on my phone, and today I would like to talk about a mobile app I find really useful, and it is Google Maps.

I use it almost every day, and it has made my life much easier, especially in a busy city like Dhaka. I first started using Google Maps about 5 years ago when I moved to a new area for my studies. At that time, I didn’t know the roads, bus routes, or even the location of basic places like pharmacies and banks. A friend of mine suggested I should try the app, and since then, it has become one of the most important apps on my phone.

What I like most about Google Maps is its navigation system. Whenever I need to go somewhere new, I just type the destination, and the app shows me the fastest route. It also informs me about traffic jams, road conditions, and estimated travel time. This helps me plan my journey better and avoid being late. For example, last month I had an exam in a center I had never visited before. Google Maps guided me step by step, and I reached there 20 minutes early without any stress.

Another reason I find it useful is the offline maps feature. Sometimes, when I’m in an area with poor internet, I can still use it offline. The app also shows reviews and photos of restaurants, shops, and tourist places, so I can decide where to go based on other people’s reviews. Besides navigation, I sometimes use it to check nearby places. If I’m hungry, I can quickly find restaurants around me with ratings and prices. Recently, it has even showed me which health centres are open nearby for measles vaccines needed for my daughter. Overall, Google Maps has saved me a lot of time and reduced my stress when traveling.
