The Fellowship, organised by BuildingAssets J-School under the Bangladeshi Journalists in International Media-BJIM and EMK Center, and supported by the Small Grant Programme, was a great success.

A prime example of this success is Nayem Ali Shaan, a Fellow who earned top honours in the programme. Previously a photographer, Nayem's confidence in multiplatform journalism grew significantly thanks to the intensive courses offered during the Fellowship.

This story co-authored with one of his Fellowship Mentors and a top Bangladeshi journalist -- Faisal Mahmud -- demonstrates the effectiveness of the programme.
