Dr. Md Ekram Hossain is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse range of experiences in academia, research, and consulting. With expertise in environmental economics, sustainable development and management, climate change and circular economy. Dr. Hossain has made significant contributions to various organizations and institutions across multiple countries. Currently serving as a Consultant at the Department of Environment (DOE) and the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Dr. Hossain has been involved in a leading research project, providing expert guidance, and contributing to policy development. This experience has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the intersection between environmental issues, policy frameworks, and sustainable business practices. Prior to his consulting role, Dr. Hossain held the position of Assistant Professor at the Business School of Hohai University in Nanjing, China, from September 2019 to September 2021. During his tenure, he demonstrated exceptional teaching abilities, delivering courses on topics related to business and economics. Dr. Hossain's dedication to student learning and engagement resulted in a highly stimulating and supportive academic environment. Before his appointment as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Hossain served as a Lecturer (Research Faculty) at Hohai University from 2017 to 2019.
