QURO

"ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُونَ فَرِيقًا مِّنكُم مِّن دِيَارِهِمْ تَظَاهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَإِن يَأْتُوكُمْ أُسَارَىٰ تَفْدُوهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ إِخْرَاجُهُمْ ۚ أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتَابِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍ ۚ فَمَا جَزَاءُ مَن يَفْعَلُ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلَّا خِزْيٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ أَشَدِّ الْعَذَابِ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ"

Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 85, condemns the hypocrisy of the Jews, who made a covenant with Allah to not kill each other or expel their people, but then went on to do exactly that, while also ransoming those they had unjustly expelled, highlighting their selective belief and the ensuing punishment.

Surah Al-Isra, verse 7 (17:7) in the Quran states: "If you do good, you do it for yourselves, and if you do evil, you do it against yourselves. And when the second warning came, your enemies would totally disgrace you and enter that place of worship as they entered it the first time, and utterly destroy whatever would fall into their hands."
