Implant Surgery Suturing Guide

🔹 1. Simple Interrupted Suture

👉 সবচেয়ে common & versatile

✔️ Use:
• Routine implant placement
• ছোট flap closure
• Good primary closure থাকলে

👍 Advantage:
• Easy, quick
• যদি একটা knot খুলেও যায় → পুরো closure নষ্ট হয় না

⚠️ Tip:
• Tension-free closure নিশ্চিত করুন (flap stretch করবেন না)

🔹 2. Horizontal Mattress Suture

👉 Flap stabilization & tension distribution

✔️ Use:
• যখন flap-এ tension বেশি
• GBR (bone graft) cases
• Membrane cover করার সময়

👍 Advantage:
• Wound edge evert করে → better healing
• Tension evenly distribute করে

⚠️ Tip:
• খুব tight দিলে tissue necrosis হতে পারে

🔹 3. Vertical Mattress Suture

👉 Precise edge adaptation + eversion

✔️ Use:
• Esthetic zone (anterior maxilla)
• Papilla preservation cases

👍 Advantage:
• Excellent marginal adaptation
• Dead space কমায়

🔹 4. Sling Suture

👉 Around healing abutment / দাঁত ঘিরে stabilization

✔️ Use:
• Healing abutment already placed
• Papilla shape maintain করতে

👍 Advantage:
• Tissue position control করা যায়
• Esthetic contour maintain

🔹 5. Figure-of-8 Suture

👉 Socket বা implant cover protection

✔️ Use:
• Immediate implant after extraction
• Socket seal

👍 Advantage:
• Clot stabilize করে
• Easy & fast

👉 Best combo (most cases):
• Material: Nylon / Prolene (monofilament)
• Size: 4-0 / 5-0

👉 Esthetic zone:
• 5-0 / 6-0

👉 GBR / graft:
• Slightly thicker → 4-0

এখানে দুইটা এক্সরে দেখতে পাচ্ছি ৮ মাস আগের এবং পরের।

আমাদের এই পেশেন্ট এর উপরের পাটির সামনের মাঝখান থেকে ডান পাশের ২ নাম্বার দাঁতের গোড়ায় একটা সিস্ট হয়েছিলো। গত ২০২৪ সালের ডিসেম্বর মাসে আমরা সর্বাধুনিক প্রযুক্তির বায়োসিরামিক সিলার ব্যবহার করে দাঁত টি তে রুট ক্যানেল ট্রিটমেন্ট করে দেই এবং সার্জিক্যাল পেরিএপিকাল কিউরেটেজ করি।

৮ মাস পরে ২০২৫ এর আগস্ট মাসে পেশেন্ট আবার আমাদের কাছে আসলে আমরা আরেকটি এক্সরে নিয়ে দেখি যে আগের সিস্ট টা আস্তে আস্তে আকারে ছোট হয়ে গিয়ে নতুন করে হাড় তৈরি হয়েছে।

The wait is over! Here’s the final result of the upper left lateral incisor restoration I shared earlier. The tooth was severely damaged, but after a successful composite-based core build-up and fiber post, I completed the restoration with a PFM crown.
