Cyber Security Club, CSE, UAP received Dell PowerEdge R640 Server from Servicing 24 Limited

The server handover ceremony was held on 22 October 2025 at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP), organized by the Cyber Security Club, CSE – UAP. The ceremony marked the official handover of a Dell PowerEdge R640 1U Server contributed by Servicing24 Limited, signifying a meaningful collaboration between academia and industry.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Md. Nasir Feroz, CEO of Servicing24 Limited, who shared insightful words on the importance of bridging academia and industry to prepare students for practical cybersecurity challenges. Dr. Aloke Kumar Saha, Proctor of UAP, and Dr. Shah Murtaza Rashid Al Masud, Professor and Head of the Department of CSE, also extended their appreciation for the contribution, highlighting that the server will help students gain practical industry knowledge and provide enhanced opportunities for research and hands-on learning.

The Dell PowerEdge R640 server contributed by Servicing24 Limited will serve as a CTF (Capture The Flag) hosting platform and a research environment for students of the Cyber Security Club, CSE – UAP. This valuable contribution will enhance hands-on learning opportunities, allowing members to explore real-world cybersecurity scenarios and conduct advanced research. The University of Asia Pacific extends its sincere appreciation to Servicing24 Limited for helping students gain exposure to the real industry environment and supporting their growth in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity.
