In an unequal world, collaboration is the key to fair competition. Hence, many educators and understudies prefer online classes due to greater reach, flexible timing and ease of accessibility.

However, not all classes are effective to their full potential— perhaps due to a lack of technical resources or simply due to the inability to use those technical resources efficiently. Despite both, here's 3 free technical ways to record effective classes.

OBS Studio allows for high quality screen recordings and a smooth export process in various formats. Whilst most students do not have any problem with blurry videos, it aids students with poor visual strength and reduces the strain on their eyes, making it easier for them to focus on the lecture.

Audacity is a voice recording and editing app. It helps remove the background noise and louden the speaker's voice from the uploaded or recorded audio; hence, elongating the student’s attention span, reducing noise-induced headaches and frustration during class, and enhancing comfort and ease in understanding lectures.

And last but not the least, compressing videos helps to upload at highest quality. This ensures that the quality of the original content is not distorted when uploading.

Nowadays, the most neglected cause for having bad grades is having poor basics. This can be due to the incompetence of teachers, or the failure to grasp the concept due to various reasons by students. Moreover, it is nearly impossible for school, private or coaching teachers to dedicate more time than they can afford to students, even if parents break their banks; which is already too stressful and economically taxing. This is because the teachers to students ratio in Bangladesh is extremely low. Needless to say, it is very difficult to find competent private tutors which is why many of them fall victim to tuition media ripping them off 60% to 70% of their remuneration.

In that case; it is the student's duty to remember that parents and teachers are humans like them, too… which is why they need to take the responsibility of their own academics and clear their basics before they start their next class or as soon as they can, during breaks.

While Exam Solutions is more tailored to the UK's IGCSE and IAL concepts, Khan Academy is based on the USA's schooling system. However, there are many common topics in both syllabi that are important; to have a strong foundation in mathematics. Hence, the direct link to the elaborate list has been mentioned.

As for Quizlet, searching your specific unit or subject along with your board name will bring in many flashcards related to the unit or subject. And, writing them offline on paper will aid memory retention. The definition of mathematical terms never come as direct questions— however, they are often interchangeably used in question papers. So, knowing them will help solve question paper problems much more easily, making one's mathematical life a lot easier.

No matter which subject one studies for their IGCSE or IAL exams, practising past papers is very important because it:

1. Helps understand the format and structure of the exam.
2. Familiarizes one with the type of questions that are frequently asked.
3. Aids proper correction of answers and remedial of weak concepts by using mark schemes based on the insight of examiners.
4. Enhances time management skills by finishing tasks on allocated time for each section or question; and moving on if a question is too time-consuming.
5. Implements knowledge in a timed exam setting.
6. Develops problem-solving skills by learning how to answer questions effectively.
7. Reduces exam anxiety to be more comfortable with the exam atmosphere by experiencing a variety of questions and scenarios.
8. Adapts one to the pressure of an exam environment, which is crucial for performing well on the actual exam day.

Overall, practising one past paper per week for each subject is a good strategy towards the beginning of one's courses. This gives ample time to review mistakes, revisit concepts, and build confidence. As for examinees, practising one past paper per day is optimum to maintain writing speed, especially in the months leading up to the exam.
