এই গ্রুপে সব ডিপার্টমেন্টের স্টুডেন্ট থাকা স্বত্তেও গ্রুপের নামে "BBA" আছে কেনো?

আজ থেকে প্রায় ১০ বছর আগে Boys lounge এ বসে আমাদের কয়েকজন এলামনাই NSUer দের জন্য একটা স্টুডেন্ট কমিউনিটি খোলার পরিকল্পনা করেন। সাথে সাথেই Khan Mohammad Daniel Al Nahian ভাই উনার ল্যাপটপ থেকে এই গ্রুপটি ওপেন করেন। উনি এবং বাকি Co-founder ভাই-রা বিবিএ এর স্টুডেন্ট হওয়াতে গ্রুপের নাম দিয়েছিলেন NSU BBA Courses and Faculty Assessment । এর কিছুদিন পরেই এক মর্মান্তিক দূর্ঘটনায় Daniel ভাই মৃত্যুবরণ করেন। গ্রুপের নামকরণ যেহেতু Daniel ভাইয়ের হাতে করা, তাঁর সম্মানার্থে গ্রুপের নাম কখনো পরিবর্তন করা হয়নি। তবে এই কমিউনিটি যেই উদ্দ্যেশ্য নিয়ে খোলা হয়েছিল, সেভাবেই পরিচালিত হয়ে আসছে প্রায় ১০ বছর ধরে৷ এর মাঝের ভালোমন্দ সকল পরিস্থিতিতে NSUer দের পাশে ছিল এই গ্রুপ। সামনের দিনগুলোতেও থাকবে ইনশাআল্লাহ।

আজ (৫ এপ্রিল) Daniel ভাইয়ের ৯ম মৃত্যুবার্ষিকী। ভাইয়ের আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনা করি৷ আল্লাহ উনাকে জান্নাতবাসী করুক।

Post graduation time is maybe one of the most confusing phases a student has to go through. ‘Which job to apply for?”, “Will it be suitable for me” are some of the generic questions that come across our minds. MTO most probably is the most likely answer to this questions. MTO, better known as Management Trainee Officer is one of the most highly sought-after position for a fresh graduate.

To get to the bottom of these positions and the dynamics of it, “Jobs and Internships for NSUers” is arranging an online webinar, “One Step Towards MTO”. A webinar packed with esteemed panel of speakers, who are also the alumni of NSU will be sharing some significant insights regarding the position based on their prior and current experiences. The discussion session will be highly interactive letting the audiences too share some insights or clear their queries regarding this position.

Happy 50th Victory Day!🇧🇩

The latest edition of NSUPS glories, another Googler from us.

Congratulations to our very own Aminul Haq for getting an offer from Google. He will be joining Google UK as a software engineer soon.

During his NSU life, Aminul Haq was a true icon of a hard-working and passionate person towards competitive programming. His team stood 4th among all Bangladeshi teams in ICPC Asia West Continent FInal 2019. Among many of his achievements, 5th in KUET IUPC’19 is a memorable one. He worked in BAPS (Bangladesh Association of Problem Solvers) as a problem setter too.

We would especially want to thank Aminul Haq for putting his time and effort to lead the current NSUPS community and making sure that it lives to see another day. He was a pioneer to build the communal vibe among the current members of NSUPS. Being the Batman of NSUPS, He truly lived up to the quote,

“It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.” - Batman

The community loves him and is grateful for his contributions. We wish him all the very best for his upcoming journey.
