EEE Students from Northern University Bangladesh Attended 9-Day Industrial Training at Ulkasemi

Students from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Northern University Bangladesh successfully completed a 9-day Industrial Training Program organized by Ulkasemi from 11 May to 21 May 2026.

The program brought together more than 90 students from 10 universities across Bangladesh, providing participants with valuable industry exposure and hands-on learning experiences in the rapidly growing semiconductor sector. Throughout the training, students gained practical insights from industry experts and experienced professionals working in VLSI and chip design technologies.

The training covered a wide range of technical topics, including Design Verification, Analog Circuit Design, Design for Test (DFT), IC Physical Design (Place and Route), Foundry Technology & Design Services, and IC Mask Design for both Digital and Analog Systems. In addition to technical sessions, students also participated in professional development workshops on CV Writing, Interview Preparation, Presentation Skills, and Public Speaking.

The program significantly enhanced the students’ understanding of industrial workflows, semiconductor technologies, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional communication. It also provided a strong foundation for pursuing future careers in the fields of VLSI, semiconductor engineering, and chip design.

The Department of EEE, Northern University Bangladesh, extends its sincere appreciation to the trainers, organizers, and the entire Ulkasemi team for arranging such an insightful and career-oriented learning experience.
