There is always some madness in love, but there is some reason in madness. Nothing is better than expressing your love to someone. Meera wanted to express her love for Sameer. Last day of school “Graduation Day “, All set to go. Meera’s comrade was talking to each other, flaunting their outfit. Meera was as usable looking gorgeous. Her eyes were searching for Sameer.
But she couldn’t find him.The hero of her dream was missing. She wanted to ask someone about him out of desperation but then he arrived wearing a tuxedo and a sharp bow. He was looking very handsome, all the girls were looking at him. Meera was relieved but he was not paying attention to her. Oh! This boy full of attitude she muttered. He didn’t even try to look for me .She was upset, But pretended to enjoy the ceremony.
Sameer’s friend had occupied the couch for him. He was enjoying the ceremony. Lastly the time for dinner, was a buffet-style dinner to be precise, and this was her chance to talk to Sameer. She was next to him and said Hi ! Sameer ,can I talk to you, Sameer smiled and said, you are looking pretty! .She smiled and said I wanted to tell you something,Sameer blushed and said tell me,as she was trying to propose him, a teacher interrupted them, by marching towards the food kept between the two like a hungry bear.
She was rout, trying to express her love to Sameer , walking towards the bus ,she heard a voice from behind ,”Meera” without turning back she said” yes “.It was Sameer , she stopped , Sameer came near to her and said,” Meera, will you be my love “. She jumped and hugged him and said you are my dream .
So, We say that there is always some madness in love, but there is always some reason in madness.

Don’t always trust what you see on social media, on Instagram, even salt could be made to look like sugar.
It’s no secret that one of the number 1 issues affecting people today, is mental health we see all these people on social media appearing to live some dream life, always wearing the best clothes, driving the best cars, or being in some fairy tale relationship...
We compare our lives to theirs and then start to question, why aren’t our lives as perfect...?
But what's important to remember, is if something seems to good to be true, then it usually is. Not everything that glitters turns out to be gold, that perfect body, might be perfect photoshop that smooth skin, might be a smoothing filter and that ideal relationship might not be so ideal...
So remember to love the life you have because only when you stop looking around that's when you can appreciate what's right in front of you...

With the occasional breeze brushing across my face, I kept looking at the entrance of the station. Sweat was trickling from one corner of my face with the hot autumn sun. I kept looking at every person who passed by me. One lady pushed me with her rear side without even realizing that she did that. I noticed that she did not know what her rear side had just done while bending and I pardoned her. After all, she was not making me wait for ages.
I looked at the chattering lady police and she was not doing what she needs to do. After the bomb blast in Mumbai, I thought they would be frisking anyone with huge luggage. She glanced at me once when she saw my gaze for than a minute on her. I quickly prayed that, he should now come sooner.
Though my prayer was not completely answered, God has his own way of doing that. He did not come yet but he called. I answered without saying hello,
“Where are you?”
“I am right outside, Priye”
He had the habit of annoying me more by calling me ‘Priye’ when I am at the peak of my frustration.
“Then why aren’t you coming in?”
“Darling, just step outside and we will go.”
“But aren’t we going in train, I don’t want to go in auto or taxi for that matter.”
“Will you ever listen to me.” he sighed, “Please come out priya, I am serious.”
I hung up and walked out of the station. I could not see him anywhere. I would kill him if this was a prank I thought to myself. I saw a hand waving at me from one crowded corner; the person was inside a car. At closer look, I realized it’s him. I hurried down the path with my mouth wide open, as the car looked brand new.
“Whose car is it?” I asked him suspiciously.
He grinned and opened the door for me.
“Priye let me be your chauffeur today.”
I took seat knowing he was being romantic and constant questions about the car would simply spoil the fun.
There was no doubt in my mind that the car was brand new because I could smell the new plastic in the car. We drove to the nearest beach. On the way, he would look at me and give me a sheepish smile.
I smiled back at him with all the love I always felt for him.
“Jaan, do you want to tell me something?”
“Not now, wait for some more time.”
He parked the car carefully and we walked towards the salty breezy air. The sound of crashing waves on the shore and the illimitable blue sky wavered above our heads. It was a wonderful beginning of an evening. He held my hand firmly as we moved towards the sea.
“Priya, I bought that car today. Did you like it?”
I was astounded by the news, which he gently delivered. Not once did he mention anything about buying the car during our conversations. The deal may not have been settled for a week. He did it for us, I was not sure yet but this definitely is an indication.
“You didn't say anything about this before.” She said beaming, “I love the car, and it’s simply perfect.”
“I hoped you would like it, I wanted to surprise you.” He smiled.
“That you certainly did, darling.” She giggled.
They walked the shore hands in hand and enjoying the breeze. Splashing water on each other once in a while and giggling like school children. We came across a patch, nobody was around. As we sat down cuddling to each other, he said quietly, “Priya do you see the sun going down?”
I was baffled with his question and answered simply, “Yes.”
“I would like to see the sun rise, with you right beside me.”
Today was a day of surprises; I quiet did not understand what he meant. I looked into his eyes for an answer. They were clear and honestly determined, with no malice lacing them. When my eyes held a question, he answered it in whisper.
“Forever…”
He produced a ring out of nowhere and waited for me to say something. My mouth seemed to cease working to any instructions my head gave.
“Yes, I would love that.” I managed to finally say.
There after we just talked about our future and all the lovely things we would do together. We left the beach and sat in the quiet of the car.
“I can’t wait to tell this to didi. She would be overjoyed.”
He smiled and we drove out of that place.
“Let me accompany you when you do that. After all, we have to ask her permission.” He said.
I looked at him, “I love you." as he bent towards me to kiss I said, "Let’s get married soon.” He kissed me while he was taking a turn and an impending truck banged into our new small car. Flying high in the sky taking away all our plans into one single moment of death.
We leap into the world with all our joyous rightfulness hoping to fly through it. But when we start to fall like a rock from sky we wonder, why at all did we jump? Then we realize we did jump for a reason and if we dint fly the reason has stopped to exist. With the occasional breeze brushing across my face, I kept looking at the entrance of the station. My story start in late Jun. It was jun 8th, I think. It was the fast day of our holiday, a hot jun day. I stood in the sun and looked at the sea. It was 11 o'clock in the morning. I was on the boat at Portsmouth with my family. Sea birds played near our big boat and the small boats near us on the sea.
I started to look at the people with us on our boat. Thay all watched the sea birds and talked and laughed. They were all happy on the fast day of their holiday too. And suddenly there he was, this tall, quite boy in a blue and white shirt. He was really good looking🥰. I'll always remember the fast time I saw him.🙈
He didn’t' see me then.
He was with some friends.
One of the boys was his brother, I think: they had the same blue eyes, the same mouth and nose, nearly the same hair. Hir brother and one of the boys with him tried to catch the sea birds and he smiled at them. Then they come and stood near us, and they talked about the small boats on the sea. I watched him over my sisters head all the time.
His brother and his friends made a lot of noise. But he was quite and don’t talk a lot. Then suddenly he looked at me and his eyes stayed quality on me.......and he smiled. His lovely smile with his shy blue eyes. Uffff
The people near me on the boat, the sun, the sea, the birds, the noise of his friends, time - It all stopped. At the moment there was only him and me, me and him. Him and his smile for me. Only the two of us😊
Slowly, very slowly, the boat started to move away, across the water to Spain. It takes a day and a night on the boat from Portsmouth to Santander, in Spain. A day and a night together, on the same boat with him...........
We'll be on this boat for a day and a night. Perhaps i can talk to him before we arrive there......... Perhaps i'll see him again this evening.............🥺

The time Uncle Ken and I went for a walk and he insisted on going the zigzag way, I did the same. It was fun. But like all things to do with Uncle Ken, it landed us in a situation where we had to make a hasty exit. While we were being chased away by an irate man from his fields and were dashing away, Uncle Ken’s hat flew off. Later, when we had stopped panting, I remembered what Granny had said about looking at the funny side of situations and had a good laugh. Unfortunately, I don’t think Uncle Ken saw the lighter side at that moment. It helps to have such an outlook on finding oneself in the oddest of circumstances. Like the time I was in Mumbai and my belt decided to have some fun by getting entangled with a fellow passenger’s luggage. After that, I sat quietly at the book festival I had been taken to attend, to keep my belt out of trouble. And it’s not just belts that get me into trouble. There was the time I was sharing a taxi to Delhi with a gentleman with a fierce moustache. He was carrying a book written by me with him. When I told him it was my book, he looked offended that I was trying to lay a claim to his property. I gave up on the conversation quickly and filed it away for future use in a story. I have even been accused by some of my younger audience for being too funny. Once a girl asked me disapprovingly why my ghost stories are not scary enough. ‘‘Your ghosts are too funny,’’ she grumbled. So, I tried to write a few scary ghost stories. But I find benign, friendly ghosts just as delightful. So, I also wrote about my friend Jimmy, who discovered he was a jinn. That meant he could elongate his arms at will. This ensured that he had a starring role to play in the school basketball team. Mostly, I feel I have been able to live this life enjoying its small moments of happiness and been able to laugh when needed.

Cataract is the major cause of blindness, which is also caused by a damage to the cornea. It occurs more often in old age. As one starts growing old, the lens of the eye hardens, loses it transparency and becomes opaque. It obstructs the light rays from entering the eye.
The onset of cataract blurs the vision. Sometimes, the cataract patient sees multiple images instead of a single object image. Because of the gradual development of cataract, the afflicted person loses his/her vision and the world becomes dark to him/her.
The development of cataract is a complex process. However, the following factors can be attributed to its formation. Cataract generally develops in old age but sometimes, children are born with cataract because of hereditary defect. Eye injuries too, can cause cataract.
People exposed to sunrays for longer periods develop cataract earlier than others. Researchers opine that the smoke inhaled while smoking, carries substances internally damaging the eyes.
Ultraviolet radiation, invisible to the human eye, is linked to skin cancer. The victim loses vision and the world becomes dark to him.
