আমরা খুবই আনন্দের সাথে জানাচ্ছি যে Right to Peace, ‘Building Peace and Social Cohesion through a Sensible Response towards Covid-19’ নামে একটি নতুন প্রজেক্ট শুরু করতে যাচ্ছে।

কোভিড-১৯ মহামারি চলাকালীন সময়ে সামাজিক সুসংগতি, নারী নির্যাতন ও মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য- এ বিষয়গুলো হবে এ প্রজেক্টের মূল ক্ষেত্র। এসকল বিষয়গুলোকে সার্বিকভাবে অনুধাবনের জন্য আমরা সামনের কয়েক সপ্তাহ জুড়ে বিভিন্ন কর্মকান্ড পরিচালনা করবো। আমাদের কার্যক্রমগুলোর মধ্যে উল্লখযোগ্য হলোঃ

১/ গবেষণাঃ সাম্প্রদায়িক সহিংসতার পেছনে বিদ্বেষমূলক বক্তব্যের প্রভাব এবং এর সমাধান।

২/ মিডিয়া লিটারেসি কর্মশালাঃ প্রশিক্ষণের মাধ্যমে জনগণের মধ্যে বিভিন্ন তথ্য ও কন্টেন্ট এর সত্যতা যাচাই এর বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক সক্ষমতা তৈরি।

৩/ আন্তঃধর্মীয় সংলাপঃ বিভিন্ন ধর্মালম্বী মানুষের মধ্যে সংলাপের মাধ্যমে পারস্পরিক সমঝোতা ও সহানুভূতি গড়ে তোলা।

৪/ অনলাইন ক্যাম্পেইনঃ সামাজিক সুসংগতি, নারী নির্যাতন ও মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য- এ বিষয়গুলোর উপর অনলাইন ক্যাম্পেইনের মাধ্যমে সচেতনতা তৈরি।

প্রজেক্টের কার্যক্রমগুলোর আপডেট পরবর্তী কয়েক সপ্তাহ জুড়ে রাইট টু পিসের ফেসবুক পেইজে তুলে ধরা হবে। এর জন্য সবাইকে আমাদের সাথে থাকার আমন্ত্রণ রইলো।

We are very delighted to announce that, Right to Peace is going to launch their new project on "Building Peace and Social Cohesion through a Sensible Response towards Covid-19".

We are aiming to address some significant peace related issues arisen during and after Covid-19 such as social cohesion, violence against women and mental health. To address these issues we will be conducting various activities throughout the next few weeks. Our activities includes:

1. Research: To understand the role of hate speech behind communal violence and to identify effect measures to resolve the issue.

2. Media Literacy: To build the cognitive capacity among youths to critically scrutinize the accuracy and fact base of a content which will enable them to think critically.

3. Interfaith Dialogue: To develop mutual understanding and empathy across faith through dialogue.

4. Online Campaign: On various peace related issues arisen during and after Covid19 such as social cohesion, violence against women and mental health.

We will be uploading our activities here on this page throughout the next few weeks. So stay tuned with us!
