Friend+ly= Friendly
Mother+ly= Motherly
Brother+ly=Brotherly

***If you want to change these into adverbs, you have to follow this rule: In a +adjective +manner/way
Friendly= in a friendly manner (adv)
Cowardly =in a cowardly way (adv)
Though the usual way to convert a word Adj to adv is : Adj+ly= adverb
Ex: usual+ly=usually
Normal+ly= normally
Attractive+ly= Attractively
Horrible+ly= Horribly etc.
Use of Later and Latter
Later= পর/ পরে (সময়)
Latter= পরবর্তী (অবস্থান/জায়গা)

If these are used as subject in a sentence, the verb will definitely be singular. Ex: Something is going to happen.
