Medical College for Women and Hospital (MCWH) successfully organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) on 17 September 2026 at the Suraiya Jabeen Auditorium.

The session featured insightful presentations by Prof. Dr. Palash Barua, HOD of Ophthalmology, MCWH and guest speaker Dr. Tariq Reza Ali, Associate Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, Bangladesh Medical University.

The CME provided an opportunity for doctors and medical professionals to strengthen their understanding of ROP, its clinical considerations, early detection and the importance of timely intervention in protecting the vision of premature infants.
