After the success of the five consecutive seasons, on popular demand from the participants, we are organizing the 6th season for the workshop “A journey towards Ph.D”- Season 6 for persons who wish to improve their careers by developing a research mindset. The workshop contains the following 4 sessions.

How to narrow down a research topic
How to develop a Research Question
How to prepare a Ph.D proposal
How to apply for a Ph.D scholarship

Each 2-hour long interactive workshop is designed for participants who are seeking to apply for a Ph.D, develop a research mindset, enhance knowledge of their research areas and contribute to the existing knowledge base. Each workshop series engages the participants in a brainstorming session that helps them find the contribution/problem area for their research work, design appropriate research questions, draft a Ph.D proposal and prepare to apply for a scholarship. The workshop makes the participants delve deep into the philosophy behind research and develops their research mindset.

Alhamdulillah another popular workshop series on “Brain Engaging Teaching Techniques and Strategies” (BETTS) with OBE conducted for the newly recruited faculties of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). BUP is a public university run by the armed forces with upholding the motto "EXCELLENCE THROUGH KNOWLEDGE".

The workshop is completely participatory, i.e., it engages the teachers themselves to participate. The BETTS methodology challenged the participants to engage their own brains to solve learning problems regularly faced by their students in their classes.

The teachers would now like to start using these techniques in their own classrooms.

Saturdays (11, 18 & 25) during the month of June from 9:30 pm to 10:30pm. The workshop is designed for persons who are going to perform the Holy Hajj this year.
