16th December — Victory Day of Bangladesh.

On this historic day, ACI AUST Student Chapter pays profound tribute to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives in the Liberation War of 1971. Their courage, resilience, and selfless sacrifice secured the freedom we cherish today.

As we commemorate this glorious victory, let us reaffirm our commitment to the ideals of independence, unity, and responsibility, and work together toward building a progressive and prosperous Bangladesh.

On 16th August 2025 , the members of ACI AUST Student Chapter had the incredible opportunity to visit the Crown Cement
Readymix Plant, Ashulia.

This insightful industrial tour allowed the students to explore modern practices of ready-mix concrete production, witness sustainable innovations in the construction sector, and bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application.

We sincerely thank Crown Cement for hosting us and providing such a valuable learning experience. Your warm hospitality and practical knowledge sharing truly enriched our understanding of the industry.

On 31 July, 2025, ACI AUST Student Chapter successfully hosted 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐.𝟎, a seminar focused on 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠.

The session was conducted by
𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗱 𝗔𝗵𝘀𝗮𝗻, who provided valuable insights into the integration of AI in structural engineering.

Mr. Ahsan began by explaining how AI can revolutionize structural engineering by optimizing design processes, improving predictive modeling, and enhancing decision-making. He emphasized AI’s role in automating complex calculations, detecting structural flaws and reducing human error in analysis.

Also Mr. Ahsan shared key findings from his research, focusing on Deep Beam Analysis,Database Generation,Evaluation,Ensemble Machine Learning Models,Model Interpretability & Use of Origin Pro Software.

The event was highly informative, with active participation from students and faculty members.
Mr. Ahsan’s expertise provided a clear roadmap for integrating AI into structural engineering, inspiring attendees to explore this cutting-edge field further.

We are profoundly grieved by the tragic fighter jet crash at Milestone School in Uttara. Our deepest sympathies are with all those impacted by this heartbreaking incident.
