IELTS: The Important Facts

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who want to study or work where English is the language of communication. IELTS is recognized by over 6,000 organizations worldwide, including universities, employers, professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.
Your ability to listen, read, write and speak in English will be assessed during the test. IELTS is graded on a scale of 1-9.

IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English.

Hello, I am Nafisa Ahsan Nitu, Assistant professor in English at a private university in Bangladesh. I have completed my masters and Honors in English from Jahangirnagar University.
