Students from the 4th Year, 1st Semester of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) recently participated in the Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) Hackathon, organized by the Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication (BNNRC). The national competition brought together teams from 15 public and private universities across the country and was hosted at the Innovation Hub of United International University (UIU).
The hackathon challenged participants to develop innovative technological solutions to address Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence, encouraging the socially responsible and impactful use of technology.
The AUST team was mentored by Ms. Tamanna Tabassum, Assistant Professor of the Department of CSE, who guided and supported the students throughout the four-hour intensive competition. She also served as one of the judges of the event.
