🌙 Bedtime came to Curious Cubs this week!

Since story time was all about bedtime, our Cubs came dressed in their pajamas, favourite soft toy in hand. We set the scene with a cozy bed and pillows to make it feel just like home — then settled in for a storytelling session brought to life with puppets and plushies.

After the story, the Cubs coloured their own bedtime scene, adding their own touch to what they'd just heard.

That's what a Curious Cubs evening looks like — pajamas, soft toys, a story, and a little bit of art, all before the evening winds down. 🌼

A full circle of learning ....

Our Curious Cubs started by tracing their own hands and feet and taping them into a path — then hopped and balanced their way across it. From there, they moved into some energizing exercise together, and finally wound down with a well-earned rest.

Curious Cubs (ages 4–6) meets thrice a week with storytelling, art, science, lifeskill and physical play.

Three years ago, we started our Drama Program with a purpose deeper than performance. We wanted our children to stop fearing the language and start feeling it. Today, that vision has bloomed into 8 stage shows and one appearance on BTV.

This year's Annual Show was proof of just how far our little performers have come.

Our Junior Drama Team brought two beloved classics to life:
📖 Satyendranath Dutta's "পালকির গান"
📖 Annadashankar Ray's "মুখে মুখে জবাব"

And our Senior Drama Group took on the timeless words of Rabindranath Tagore in "খ্যাতির বিড়ম্বনা" — delivering lines with a confidence that left the whole room in awe.

Watching children who once cried at the sight of a Bangla script now command a stage with poise is one of the proudest moments for .mostafa.92 (our instructor), teachers and families alike. Because drama at Dandelionz was never just about acting. It's where children learn responsibility (their lines depend on them), patience (through weeks of rehearsal), teamwork (no one shines alone on stage), and the quiet courage it takes to face an audience and be seen.

These are the values that stay with them long after the curtains close.

🪣This ball-transfer game had our learners busy collecting colourful balls and pouring them from bucket to bucket — and behind all that giggling was real skill-building.Picking up each ball sharpens fine motor grasp and hand-eye coordination, while lifting and tilting the bucket to pour builds gross motor strength, bilateral coordination, and body control.

Play like this isn't just fun — it's brain-building!!

Eyes locked, mind working!

Watching a ball drop from different heights and angles teaches little ones cause and effect, spatial awareness, and prediction — all while they're having the time of their lives.

While our preschool graduates walked across the stage in their caps, our ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities) students proved that the whole child grows here — not just in the classroom, but on stage too.

The show opened with our Little Muslims children leading everyone in special prayers and daily duas — a quiet, beautiful reminder of the values we nurture alongside play and learning.

Then the stage came alive:
🎭 Drama Junior took on heartfelt recitations
🎭 Drama Senior brought their skills together for a full drama performance
🎨 Our Art students traded their paintbrushes for instruments and delivered a music performance nobody saw coming!
🏓 And of course, our Curious Cubs and Table Tennis players had their moments to shine throughout the year too.

To wrap up this special day, all eligible children received their performance certificates across every ECA — Drama Junior, Drama Senior, Art, Table Tennis, Curious Cubs, and Little Muslims.

At Dandelionz, we believe children bloom in more ways than one.

Congratulations to every single performer and graduate. We're so proud of you! 💛
