The Faculty of Law is organizing commemorational programme for our recently demised student named Md Farhadul Islam (Fahad) today (26 January 2026: Monday) at 4pm at Room 411 of Social Science Building. the students of the Department of Law & Justice and Fahad's friends/well-wishers are requested to join the said programme.

Heartbroken to hear about the passing of our student named Farhadul Islam (Fahad), 51st batch, due to a severe brain stroke around 7pm this evening. Our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and give strength to his loved ones during this difficult time.

JU is commemorating its 56th foundation eve on 12 January (tomorrow). You're requested to assemble in front of the Business Faculty Building at 9:30 am! Like others, Department of Law & Justice will participate in the colourful rally!

যেহেতু আইন ও বিচার বিভাগ, ইনস্টিটিউট অব রিমোট সেন্সসিং ও উদ্ভিদ বিজ্ঞানের শিক্ষক নিয়োগের সার্কুলার গত বছরের (২০২৫) সেপ্টেম্বরে দেওয়া হয়েছে, সেহেতু এই বিভাগ গুলোর নিয়োগ কি সম্প্রতি প্রণয়ণকৃত নীতিমালা (45%+55% মার্কিং ও 50% শর্টলিস্টেড ক্যান্ডিডেট) অনুযায়ী হবে, নাকি পূর্বের নীতিমালা (যেখানে পদ্ধতিগত ত্রুটি ও সাবস্ট্যান্টটিভ ক্র্যাইটেরিয়ার ঘাটতি না থাকলে মৌখিক সাক্ষাৎকারের জন্য ডাকা হয়) অনুযায়ী হবে, এই আইনি জটিলতার কারণে আজকের আইন ও বিচার বিভাগের শিক্ষক নিয়োগের বোর্ড বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ স্থগিত করেছে!

Classes will resume from 1st January as per the decision of the central administration!
