The ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional Contest 2025 has successfully concluded at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). BUBT proudly hosted this prestigious international event for the fourth time, witnessing a record-breaking participation of 939 brilliant minds from 313 teams across the nation.

After a grueling 5-hour battle of logic and algorithms, the results are as follows:

We were honored to have Mr. Shish Haider Chowdhury, NDC, Secretary, ICT Division, as our Special Guest. He emphasized that the innovative power of youth is the key to building a Smart Bangladesh and assured that the government will always support such tech-forward initiatives.

The session was presided over by our Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. A. B. M. Shawkat Ali, who inspired the coders by stating that coding is the language of the future and urged them to use it to solve real-world problems.

Special thanks to Prof. Md. Abu Saleh (Vice Chairman, BUBT Trust), Dr. Abul Lais M. S. Haque, Mr. Md. Zaforul Alam Khan, Mr. Shahriar Manzoor, Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, and Mr. Mushraful Haque Onik (DSi) for gracing the event.

A massive acknowledgment goes to the organizing team led by Mr. Md. Saifur Rahman (RCD & Chairman, Dept. of CSE) and Mr. Md. Ashraful Islam (Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE). Their leadership and the dedication of the faculty members and technical team made this mega event possible.

The ICPC Dhaka Regional Onsite Contest 2025 Closing Ceremony and Certificate Distribution will be held at the BUBT Sports Complex, Beribadh, Mirpur.

A bus service will be available from the BUBT campus to the Sports Complex starting at 3:30 PM. Participants are requested to make use of this service to reach the venue on time.

From collecting their final kits at the registration booths to capturing smiles in group photos, the atmosphere is electric with excitement and camaraderie. It’s a joy to see the future tech leaders of Bangladesh gathering under one roof, ready to take on the challenge.

The wait is finally over. The final round of the ‘ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional Contest 2025’ kicked off in a grand manner this Saturday morning at the permanent campus of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT).

A total of 939 talented programmers from 313 teams, selected from across the country, are participating in this year's edition of the world's oldest and most prestigious programming competition. Known as the 'Olympics of Programming,' the event is being held in a festive atmosphere at the BUBT campus.
The main contest began at 11:00 AM today. In this grueling 5-hour battle of intellect, contestants are currently solving complex algorithmic problems. Prior to this, the grand opening ceremony and mock contest were held yesterday, December 19, at the BUBT campus.

Prof. Dr. A. B. M. Shawkat Ali, Vice Chancellor of the organizing institution BUBT, stated, “We have been preparing for this momentous occasion for the past few months. BUBT is proud to be a partner in this initiative to showcase the country's talented youth on the global stage. We are committed to delivering a successful and seamless competition through the tireless efforts of our volunteers, faculty members, and technical team.”

Therap BD Ltd. is the Gold Sponsor for this year's competition. The event is also being organized in cooperation with the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and ICT Division Bangladesh.

The prize-giving and closing ceremony will be held this afternoon, where trophies and awards will be handed over to the winning teams. The champions will have the opportunity to represent Bangladesh at the upcoming ICPC World Finals.
