বৈশাখ আসে দগ্ধ রৌদ্র আর উন্মুক্ত হাওয়ার মতো, পুরোনোকে ঝেড়ে ফেলে নতুনের ডাক নিয়ে।
কোথাও আছে তীব্রতা, কোথাও গভীর নীরবতা; ভাঙনের ভেতর দিয়েই গড়ে ওঠে আরেকটি শুরু।

এই নতুন বছর হোক জাগরণের, চিন্তার, উচ্চারণের আর সাহসের। পুরোনো জড়তা পেরিয়ে, আমরা যেন আরও স্পষ্টভাবে ভাবতে পারি, আরও দৃঢ়ভাবে বলতে পারি।

The East West University Debating Club is delighted to announce that Team “EWUDC 1”, comprising Zafir Anam and Badshah Akbar Rafi, has achieved the Open Runners-Up position at the 14th DRMC Nationals (English).

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to them on this outstanding accomplishment and wish them continued success in all their future endeavors.

The passing of Ahnaf Tahmid Khan Rayan, former General Secretary of Jahangirnagar University Debate Organization (JUDO), has left us in deep grief.

Some voices shape more than arguments, they shape people; and he was one such voice. He was a leader defined by integrity and sincerity. He was also someone who genuinely cared for people beyond any role. His loss feels heavy because he made lasting impact on everyone who had the chance to know him.

May Allah (SWT) grant him the highest place in Jannah; fill his grave with light.

On behalf of East West University Debating Club, we offer our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones and all who knew him. You will always be remembered and always be a part of us, Rayan.
