The ULAB 1971 History Club successfully hosted “Kaan Pete Roi — Film Screening & Interactive Session” as part of Club Week 2026, in collaboration with the Liberation War Museum.

The session featured renowned researcher, publisher, essayist, and Founder Trustee of the Liberation War Museum, Mofidul Hoque, who shared valuable historical insights, stories, and perspectives on the Liberation War of 1971.

From the powerful screening of Kaan Pete Roi to an engaging discussion and the “What I Take Away” reflection activity, the event gave students an opportunity to learn, question, reflect, and connect with the history of our nation in a meaningful way.

A heartfelt thank you to our respected guest, collaborators, participants, and everyone who made this event a success. ❤️

History is not only what we remember — it is what we continue to learn, share, and carry forward.

From wandering through the timeless streets of Panam Nagar to discovering the rich cultural heritage of Sonargaon, every moment felt like a little journey back in time. 🏘️✨
