some students of chemical technology at Dhaka Polytechnic Institute are showing how to make soap at laboratory.
Here are main three steps :
Mixing: Oils are mixed with a lye solution, starting the saponification process.
Molding: Pour the mixture into molds and leave it to set.
Curing: The soap cures for several times to harden and complete the chemical process.
Step 1 | Preparing the oily and aqueous phases.
Step 2 | Making the soap paste.
Step 3 | Adding the active ingredients.
Step 4 | Pouring the soap.
Step 5 | Rest period.
Step 6 | Unmoulding and cutting.
Step 7 | Drying.
