দু-মুখো সাপের বিষ অনেক। একবার সেই বিষ ঢেলে দিলে জীবন বরবাদ হয়ে যাবে। এদের উপরদ্রব বর্তমানে অনেক বেড়ে গেছে। আপনার আশেপাশেই উকি ঝুঁকি মারছে। আপনি বুঝতে পারছেন না।

হয়তো আপনার বন্ধু হয়ে গলায় ঝুলছে। সময় মত কামড় বসাবো।

আপনার আমার ফ্যামিলি, আত্মীয়স্বজন, পাড়া প্রতিবেশী, কলীগ কিংবা বন্ধুবান্ধবদের মধ্যেই এদের বিচরণ।

তারা আপনার সামনে মিষ্টি মিষ্টি কথা বলবে। আবার আপনার পিছনে গিয়ে আপনার নামে গাদাগাদা বদনাম করবে অন্যদের কাছে।

সুযোগ পেলে আপনার বড় ধরনের ক্ষতি করে দেবে। কারণ তাদের চরিত্র এই ধরনেরই। তারা স্বার্থের জন্য যে কোন কাজ করতে পারে।

তাই আসলেই কে আপনার বন্ধু, আসলেই কে আপনার শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষী, নিজের মনের কথা বলার আগে তার সম্পর্কে খোঁজ খবর নিন।

তা না হলে যাকে নিয়ে ঘুড়ি উড়াচ্ছেন, সে ই এক সময় সেটার সুতা কেটে দেবে। আর আপনাকে নাটাই হাতে অসহায়ের মতো দাঁড়িয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে সেই ঘুড়িটির উড়ে যাওয়া দেখতে হবে।

তাই দুমুখো সাপ থেকে সাবধান থাকুন। নিজেকে নিরাপদে রাখুন।

Eid-Ul-Adha 2024: What is Eid-Ul-Adha meaning?

Eid ul-Adha, also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice," is a significant Islamic holiday Muslims celebrate. It honours Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail to show obedience to Allah. However, Allah provided a ram for sacrifice instead. During the festival, special prayers are said, and feasts are shared. An important ritual is sacrificing an animal, where the meat is distributed among family, friends, and those in need.

Eid-Ul-Adha 2024: All Can not Celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha Holidays

Every Muslim person has the right to celebrate this festival with pleasure, but unfortunately, all can not celebrate the day equally. There are many reasons for this, but the main reason is the difference between rich and poor.

Eid-Ul-Adha 2024: Poor cannot Sacrifice Animals

Eid-Ul-Adha is significant for the sacrifice of animals like cows and goats. The central reality is that people experiencing poverty cannot sacrifice this animal due to lack of money. On the other hand, rich Muslims can afford to buy animals and sacrifice them.
Not only eating beef but also buying and sacrificing animals are the main reasons for entertainment for Muslims.

Eid-Ul-Adha 2024: Preparation Before Purchasing the Animals

There is some preparation before buying the animals before Eid day. Every family cannot afford a cow, so they buy it in divisions with other people. This process has been a tradition for hundreds of years in Bangladesh.

When at least seven participants agree to buy a cow together, they gather money from every participant and select a day to go to market, popularly known as Haat in Bangladesh. Haats are temporary animal markets that are decorated nicely. Going Cow Haat is an enjoyable moment for Muslims.

Eid-Ul-Adha 2024: Family Members Wait For Animals

This is not the end. When they buy a cow and return home, the situation is excellent because the family members of the participants wait to see the cow bought from Haat.

Eid-Ul-Adha 2024: A Common Sight On Roads

Another sight is seen three or two days on the roads when people return home after buying a cow. On the roadside, people shout to ask about the price of the cow. The people taking the cows shout the same to tell the price. It is delightful scenery in Bangladesh.

Eid-Ul-Adha 2024: Car Garage Become Cattle Home

The city people are not used to accommodating cows or goats inside the house, so they keep the animals in the car garage or make temporary rooms for them. We can hear the cow and goats shouting for their previous owner. They have recently left.

Eid-Ul-Adha 2024: On The Eid Day

On Eid Day, a Huzur, a person who is religiously educated, takes a sharp knife in hand and runs from one house to another to cut the cows. After sacrificing the cow, the Huzur, some participants cut the meat into pieces. This process takes four to five hours to finish.
After chopping, the meat is divided into those who bought the cow with their money.
This is the process and usual activity for Muslims during Eid-Ul-Adha.

Eid ul-Adha 2024 is a time for Muslims worldwide to unite in faith, reflection, and community. As families gather to perform the Qurbani, share meals, and extend generosity, it reminds them of the importance of sacrifice, compassion, and faith.
