The first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah are not ordinary days. They are the most beloved days to Allah — days filled with mercy, forgiveness, and endless opportunities to earn His love.

Dhul-Hijjah is the month of Hajj, the month of sacrifice, the month of devotion. In these days, even the smallest good deed becomes heavy on the scale because Allah multiplies the reward immensely.

The nights of Ramadan are the most beloved nights to Allah, but the days of Dhul-Hijjah are the most beloved days.

Allah says:

⁠وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ
“And remember Allah during the appointed days.”

Maybe we cannot all stand on the plains of Arafah or travel for Hajj, but we can still fill our homes, hearts, and tongues with the remembrance of Allah.

So in between work, studies, and daily life, do not miss these precious days. Pray a little more. Make more du’a. Read more Qur’an. Remember Allah often.

And let your tongue repeat:

⁠الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله والله أكبر الله أكبر ولله الحمد

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah. Allah is the Greatest, and all praise belongs to Him.

Because perhaps these few days may become the reason Allah forgives us, changes our hearts, and grants us Jannah.
