Today, we dive into the unique characteristics of the 10th letter of the Arabic alphabet: 'Ra' (ر). While it sounds simple, its phonetic features add deep beauty to Quranic recitation.

🔹 Letter: Ra (ر)

🔹 Pronunciation (Makhraj): Produced by touching the tip of the tongue (near its top surface) against the hard palate directly above.

🔹 Special Quality (Takreer): It carries a controlled, gentle vibration or trill. However, care must be taken not to over-vibrate the sound!

Did you know? Ra (ر) is a dynamic letter that switches its personality! Depending on its vowel (Harakah), it is sometimes recited with a heavy tone (Tafkheem) and other times with a light, thin tone (Tarqeeq). 🔄
