Springdale International School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PYP/SEN Teacher to take on a dual role โ€” teaching within our IB Primary Years Programme while supporting diverse learners with additional needs. The role involves classroom teaching responsibilities alongside identifying students' learning needs, planning individualized support strategies, and working closely with homeroom teachers to embed inclusive practices across the PYP classroom.

Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons in line with the IB PYP framework

Provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs

Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum and differentiate instruction in line with PYP's transdisciplinary approach

Support the integration of the PYP Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, particularly for students with additional needs

Monitor and document student progress, including alignment with PYP assessment practices

Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders regarding both academic and SEN-related progress

๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€:

Degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field

Relevant teaching experience in an IB PYP or international school setting

Experience or training in special education/inclusive practices preferred

Familiarity with the PYP's transdisciplinary, inquiry-based curriculum framework

Understanding of the PYP Learner Profile attributes and how to support students in developing them

Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and student support strategies

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
