হঠাৎ করেই বাংলাদেশ থেকে দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা গমনের শর্তগুলি বেশ কঠিন করে ফেলেছে সে দেশের সরকার। জানা গেছে যে বাংলাদেশ ও পাকিস্তানের কয়েকজন নাগরিক ভুয়া কাগজপত্র তৈরি করে সে দেশের নাগরিকত্ব লাভের চেষ্টা করতে গিয়ে ধরা পড়ে৷ এর ফলে দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা কর্তৃপক্ষ সে দেশে আগে থেকেই বসবাসকারী এবং নতুনভাবে সে দেশে গমনে ইচ্ছুক বাংলাদেশিদের উপর বিভিন্ন কঠিন শর্ত আরোপ করেছে৷ এয়ারলাইন্সগুলি ঐ দেশের চাহিদা অনুযায়ী কাগজপত্র দেখাতে না পারলে যাত্রীকে বোর্ডিং পাস দিচ্ছে না৷ দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা পর্যন্ত পৌছানোর পর যাত্রী ইমিগ্রেশন ক্রস করতে না পারলে এয়ারলাইন্স নিজ খরচে যাত্রীকে বাংলাদেশে ফেরত আনতে বাধ্য হবে৷

এ রকম পরিস্থিতিতে দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা গমনে ইচ্ছুক যাত্রীদের যাত্রার জন্য নির্ধারিত দিনের অন্তত এক সপ্তাহ আগে এয়ারলাইন্সের সাথে যোগাযোগ করে সে দেশের আরোপিত শর্তগুলি জেনে নিয়ে সে মোতাবেক প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করতে অনুরোধ করা হল।

দুর্ভাগ্যজনক হলেও সত্য যে আমরা বাংলাদেশিরা বিভিন্ন বেআইনি কাজ করে বিদেশি সরকারগুলির কাছে আমাদের বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতা নষ্ট করে ফেলি। যার খেসারত দিতে হয় নিরীহ প্রবাসীদের।

The Bangladeshis stranded in Ukraine are trying to seek safe shelters through the bordering countries- Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova as per their convenience. We have important information regarding flights to Jordan.

A completed Declaration form must be presented at Dhaka airport during check-in.

It is mandatory to have a COVID-19 PCR test before traveling to Jordan. Passengers test must be carried out a maximum of 72 hours before your flight arrival time at any government accredited medical facility.

Children under five and diplomatic passport holders traveling on duty are exempt from COVID-19 PCR testing.
Before Passengers fly to Amman, must download the AMAN app.

A completed Passenger Health Declaration Form and a Locator Form must be presented upon arrival.

When Passengers arrive in Jordan, they will be required to complete another COVID-19 PCR test. Children under the age of five and diplomats will be exempt from testing.
Passengers must pay for your arrival COVID-19 PCR test with Quest Lab before the trip. When Passengers paid, they will receive a QR code which must present at check-in. Pay now with Quest Lab.

If passengers are not a citizen of Jordan, they must also make sure that they have sufficient health insurance to cover the treatment of COVID-19. This does not apply if you are a diplomat or a national of Jordan.

Please be informed that With effect from 04:00 Monday, 15 February, the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Public Health Information for Passengers Traveling to England) Regulations 2020 have been amended to include information about Managed Quarantine Facilities and testing on days 2 and 8 of quarantine.

The mandatory requirements for traveling to UK from Bangladesh are as follow:

1) A negative COVID-19 test took up to 72 hours prior to departure for entry into the UK.
2) Submission of Passenger Locator Form(PLF) within 48 hours prior to arrival in UK.
3) Pre-book Government managed PCR test package at a cost of £210(at day 2 & day 8). This is additional to existing mandatory pre-departure tests.
4) Test booking must be entered on revised PLF.
5) 10-day quarantine upon arrival.
