আজ ৭ এপ্রিল—World Health Organization (WHO)-এর প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে পালিত হচ্ছে বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য দিবস। বর্তমান বিশ্বে স্বাস্থ্য শুধু চিকিৎসার বিষয় নয়, এটি একটি সামগ্রিক উন্নয়ন ইস্যু। বিশেষ করে COVID-19 আমাদের শিখিয়েছে একটি শক্তিশালী ও সমন্বিত স্বাস্থ্যব্যবস্থা ছাড়া টেকসই উন্নয়ন সম্ভব নয়।

স্বাস্থ্যখাতের সম্মুখসারির যোদ্ধা ডাক্তার, নার্স, টেকনোলজিস্ট ও সকল স্বাস্থ্যকর্মীদের অবদান অপরিসীম। তাদের দক্ষতা, ত্যাগ ও মানবিকতা আমাদের সমাজকে নিরাপদ রাখার অন্যতম ভিত্তি।
