এক শাশ্বত আত্মসমর্পণের সুযোগ আমাদের নিকটবর্তী। কুরবানি মানেই পশুর গলায় ছুরিচালনা নয়, বরং বছরের অঢেল কর্মব্যস্ততায় সৃষ্ট আন্তরিক পাষাণভাবের মৃত্যু।
কিন্তু এখানেই কি শেষ? মোটেও না, আল্লাহর হাবীব (ﷺ) বলেন,
‘(কুরবানি জন্তুর) প্রতিটি লোমের (পশমের) পরিবর্তে (একটি করে) নেকি রয়েছে।’ [মুসনাদে আহমদ, ইবনে মাজাহ, মিশকাত]
এবার আমাদের মধ্যে যাদেরকে কুরবানি করার সৌভাগ্য আল্লাহ দিয়েছেন, আমরা যেন নিয়তের সামান্য ভুলের কারণে এই উপহার থেকে বঞ্চিত না হই!

এইতো জিলহজ্জ মাস, আমাদের সামনে দিবালোকের মতো উপস্থিত!

বরকতময় এই মাসের তাৎপর্য বোঝার জন্য হুজুরে পাক (ﷺ) এর একটি হাদিসই যথেষ্ট: "জিলহজ মাসের প্রথম ১০ দিনের ইবাদতের মতো অধিক প্রিয় আল্লাহর কাছে আর কোনো আমল নেই।"

ভাগ্যের লিখন, এ বছর হজ করার সৌভাগ্য সকলের হয়নি। কিন্তু আমরা চাইলেই এই মাসকে বিশেষ করে তুলতে পারি ইন শা আল্লাহ।

সুতরাং আসুন সকলে আল্লাহ সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের সর্বাত্মক চেষ্টা করি। আল্লাহ তায়ালা তাঁর এই পবিত্র মাসে আমাদের বেশি বেশি ইবাদাত করার সুযোগ করে দিন। আমীন।

মাস আসে মাস যায়, কিন্তু বছর ঘুরে হজ্জের মৌসুম একবারই আসে!

আমাদের সামনেই জিলহজ মাস, যার প্রথম দশ দিন সম্পর্কে আল্লাহর হাবীব (ﷺ) ইরশাদ করেন, "জিলহজ মাসের প্রথম ১০ দিনের ইবাদতের মতো অধিক প্রিয় আল্লাহর কাছে আর কোনো আমল নেই।"

এ বছর হজ্জ করার সৌভাগ্য সকলের হয়নি। কিন্তু আমরা চাইলেই এই দশ দিনকে বিশেষ করে তুলতে পারি ইন শা আল্লাহ। ইবাতদের যে স্বাদ, তা কি অন্য কিছুতে আসে!

The ceremony was magnificently adorned by the presence of renowned Islamic scholar and public figure Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari as the Chief Guest and the Honorable Whip of the Bangladesh National Parliament Miah Nuruddin Ahmad Apu MP as the Special Guest. Their graceful presence elevated the significance and grandeur of the occasion even further.

A major highlight of the ceremony was the engaging discussion session conducted by Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari on the topic “The Exemplary Prophetic Behaviour”, where he beautifully addressed the lifestyle, character and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ before students of various institutions, respected teachers, guests and audiences of all ages. His insightful words created a spiritually enriching and inspiring atmosphere throughout the auditorium.

Later, the Chief Guest handed over prizes to several winners of the festival. The joyous expressions and heartfelt excitement of the achievers reflected how inspiring and memorable it was for them to receive recognition from such a distinguished personality.

With this remarkable ceremony, the three-day long 3rd DRMC National Islamic Cultural Festival & Book Fair 2026 reached its conclusion. Enriched with a first-ever large-scale book fair, 32 exclusive segments, mesmerizing exhibitions, engaging symposiums and the presence of respected scholars like Professor Mokhtar Ahmad and Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari, the festival successfully fulfilled its vision of creating an intellectual, creative, cultured and spiritually uplifting gathering for the youth.

We remain grateful to Allah for allowing us to witness and arrange such a memorable event, and we sincerely hope to continue organizing even greater, more meaningful and beneficial initiatives in the future. May Allah accept the efforts of everyone who contributed behind the success of this marvelous arrangement.

The 3rd DRMC National Islamic Cultural Festival & Book Fair 2026 Organised by DRMCICC was enriched with 32 exclusive segments, bringing together enthusiastic participants from different institutions in a vibrant display of intellect, creativity and expression.

From recitation and speech delivery to artistry, writing and olympiads, the festival turned into a lively arena of friendly yet competitive battles where participants passionately showcased their talents and skills.

The event also introduced several exciting and first-ever segments including Spot the Landmark, Turn The Coat, Arabic Handwriting, Mega Quiz, Tafsir Writing, Hadith Interpretation, Crossword Challenge and many more engaging competitions and olympiads. With innovative concepts, creative ex*****on and captivating themes, these segments drew immense admiration from participants and visitors alike.

The diversity and uniqueness of the arrangements truly elevated the spirit of the festival and set a remarkable benchmark for Islamic cultural events, inspiring young minds to explore knowledge, creativity and confident expression in ever more meaningful ways.

DRMC Islamic Cultural Club embraced and exhibited the rich heritage of Islamic art and craftsmanship in its recent national event, 'DRMCICC Presents 3rd DRMC National Islamic Cultural Festival & Book Fair 2026 Powered By Pubali Islami Banking'.

The arrangement featured a mesmerizing exhibition showcasing a captivating blend of artistic Arabic calligraphy, aesthetically crafted typographies, thought-provoking poster designs, beautifully decorated wall magazines and creative scrapbooks—each reflecting remarkable talent, dedication and meaningful expression. The exhibition segment was inaugurated by renowned Islamic scholar Professor Mokhtar Ahmad following the opening ceremony and continued to attract thousands of visitors throughout the three days of the festival.

Adding further vibrance to the atmosphere, an engaging :Open Islamic Art Session' took place at the college Bottola, where artists created artworks live in front of the audience. Visitors gathered with fascination to witness the creative process unfold before their eyes and thoroughly enjoyed the unique artistic experience and lively cultural ambience.

Together, the exhibitions and live art session transformed the festival into a splendid celebration of creativity, culture and intellect, leaving visitors with memorable impressions and inspiring experiences.

Glimpses from the first ever Book Fair arranged by DRMC Islamic Cultural Club, one of the major attractions of our recent event "DRMCICC Presents 3rd DRMC National Islamic Cultural Festival & Book Fair 2026".

The book fair was inaugurated on 9 April 2026 by renowned Islamic scholar Professor Mokhtar Ahmad and continued throughout the three days of the festival. More than 30 notable publishing houses of Bangladesh from various genres took part in the fair, turning the premises of Dhaka Residential Model College into a vibrant gathering of knowledge, culture and literature.

Visitors enthusiastically explored the stalls, collected books from their favorite publications and engaged in meaningful conversations centered around learning, intellect and creativity. The fair created an inspiring atmosphere where readers, students and book lovers came together to celebrate the beauty of knowledge and the culture of reading.

From Islamic literature to contemporary writings, from history to creativity, the fair offered a diverse collection for readers of all interests, making the arrangement a memorable experience for everyone present.

The ceremony was gracefully inaugurated by renowned Islamic scholar Professor Mokhtar Ahmad, who adorned the event as the Chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony. Through his insightful discussion and inspiring words, he addressed the students on the significance of Islamic culture, morality, knowledge and the responsibilities of the younger generation in building a virtuous society.
