DRMC Islamic Cultural Club celebrates its triumphant footsteps on the Islamic Cultural Competition, organized by Islamic Foundation under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Held from 5th to 8th of September 2026, the competition featured 7 segments, setting daises for all the schools and colleges of Dhaka.

Among thousands of competitors city-wide, here's the success ranked for the club's participant team representing Dhaka Residential Model College:

DRMC Islamic Cultural Club is thrilled to re-introduce its enticing intellectual segment for the fellow members and enthusiasts—the Al-Quran Study Contest!

Every noble practice deserves a return. The Al-Quran Study Contest emphasizes on the understanding of the sacred Quran at a profound depth. Fortunately, we are back with the 2nd phase of the contest for students from primary to higher secondary level.

—Group A: Class 3–6
—Group B: Class 7–12

—Open for all institutions
—Participants will be assessed through multiple-choice questions.

—For Group A, questions will cover the meaning and background (Shan-e-Nuzool) of the given Surahs.
—For Group B, questions will include meanings, deeper interpretations (Tafsir), and related concepts.

We extend our deepest condolences on the passing of our Remian brother, Samiul Mostofa, (Class 12-G Morning Shift) who left us yesterday, 15th August, after a long battle with blood cancer.

His infectious smile and kind spirit will forever echo through the halls of DRMC.
May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah, and give strength to his family to cope with this immense loss. Ameen.

The moment autocracy begins intruding into masses from all walks of life and their known lifestyles fades, they don't just kindle, they ignite with rebellion!

Our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no veil between it and Allah.”
—Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī: 2448

Allah is all Merciful. He tends to give chances to His slaves for rectification. But when tears of pain and loss glide through innocent cheeks, the helpless supplications whisper through silent winds, He may cease all chances and take away the glory, pride and ease. He is All-powerful, Most Capable.

আল্লাহর নেয়ামত কাঁধে নিয়ে যখন জুমুআর দিন আবার ফিরে আসে, ক্ষনে ক্ষণেই অন্তরে ধ্বনিত হতে থাকে এই হাদিস!

আল্লাহর হাবিব (ﷺ) বলেন, "যে ব্যক্তি জুমার দিন খুব সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠলো, উত্তমরূপে গোসল করল, পায়ে হেঁটে আগে আগে মসজিদে গেলো, ইমামের নিকটবর্তী হয়ে বসলো, মনোযোগ দিয়ে খুতবা শুনল এবং কোনো অহেতুক কাজ করলো না— তার জন্য প্রতি কদমের বিনিময়ে এক বছরের (নফল) রোযা ও নামাযের সাওয়াব রয়েছে।" [সুনানে আবু দাঊদ]

Two years can make a thing old, but not a voice!

Despotic reigns forever tread on innocent blood of righteous souls. Even on the land of flora and fauna and full of soulful people, an obnoxiously notorious fascist regime had sniffed and devoured all that was rich of this blessed country with every grasp. And the time endurance had tired itself and resistance was called out, their true attire flourished through guns and fire. More than a thousand martyrs and countless injured rejuvenated the flame and rhythm for justice, totally as a form of ignition from Allah.

Loudening thyself for justice demands a greater strength of Iman.
Therefore, for everyone who is steadfast on what is just, may Allah grant them Afia—Ameen.

Esteemed examinees of HSC 2026!
The premises of ordeal is just before you. Long one and half years of earnest effort and aspiration is on march for its test, requiring the inauguration of a fulfilling relentless determination. Though steep, the path forward isn't so brutal.

For fate can never go against Allah's will, it is better that we all rely duly upon Him only. Moreover, making adequate effort and not making so may lead to different branches of Taqdir. Do not let the fact of being the fist batch faced with full syllabus in years be a barrier to your fountain of faith and confidence. Let yourself be in the mid-line—not broken down with fear, nor exuberant in over-confidence. Recall Allah every now and then and strengthen your faith on him, for He may grant you better than you could expect!

Make various Du'a(s) your ultimate supplication.
May every success knock your threshold—Ameen.

এই ঈদুল আযহা হোক সর্বস্তরের মুসলমানের জন্য শান্তি ও নিঃশর্ত সম্প্রীতির সেতুবন্ধন। এই ঈদের দিনে, আমরা নবী ইব্রাহিম (আঃ)-এর কুরবানীর এই চেতনাকে নিজেদের মাঝে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করি—সবচেয়ে প্রিয় বস্তুর বিনিময়ে হলেও আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জন।

খুশির দিন হলেও আমাদের উপর কিছু দায়িত্ব বর্তায়—ঈদের আনন্দের পেছনের মহৎ উদ্দেশ্যকে জীবন্ত রাখা, দিনটিকে হৈচৈপূর্ণ উল্লাসলীলা হতে পবিত্র রাখা এবং পারিপার্শিক পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখা। আসুন, আমরা এই ঈদকে করে তুলি সকলের জন্য নিখাঁদ আনন্দের!
