Munny was an active and dedicated member of the Rufaida BioMeds research project on “Single Nucleotide Polymorphism Association with Lung Cancer.” She made significant contributions in sample collection, wet lab analysis, and manuscript writing with remarkable sincerity, dedication, and professionalism.

Her achievement is a reflection of her hard work, perseverance, and passion for scientific research. At Rufaida BioMeds, we are delighted to witness one of our talented alumni reaching such an important milestone in her academic career.

বাংলাদেশের মতো জায়গায় বসে নানা যন্ত্রণা পোহাতে হয় wet lab এর কাজের জন্য। একটা উদাহরণ দেই, এই প্রজেক্টের কাজের শুরুতে রিএজেন্ট অর্ডার করা হয়, সেটা পৌছাতে পৌছাতে দুইবার ভেন্ডর চেঞ্জ হয়। PCR মেশিন নষ্ট হয়ে যায়, নতুন করে আবার অর্ডার করতে হয়। বারবার শুরু থেকে শুরু করতে হয় আমাদের।

তার উপর, গত বছর ঢাকা এয়ারপোর্টের কার্গোতে আগুন লাগল, সাথে পুড়ে গেল আমাদের অর্ডার করা PCR মেশিন। সেদিন মনে হয়েছিল, সব শেষ।

কিন্তু Rufaida BioMeds থেমে যায়নি, স্বপ্ন অটুট থাকলে মহান আল্লাহও হয়তো সেটা কবুল করে নেন।

আমাদের দুই অসাধারণ Research Assistant, তৌসিফ ও শরীফ; এই প্রজেক্টের প্রতিটা মুহূর্তে পাশে ছিল, তাদের কন্ট্রিবিউশান-ই এই পেপারটাকে একটা রূপ দিয়েছে। গত ৩ বছর ধরে যে নিষ্ঠা, ধৈর্য আর পরিশ্রম দিয়েছে; তা না থাকলে এই গবেষণা হয়তো আলোর মুখ দেখত না।

এটা শুধু একটা পেপার না; এটা আমাদের ধৈর্য্যের বাস্তব প্রমাণ।

বাংলাদেশে বিজ্ঞান গবেষণা কঠিন। তবু আমরা রিসার্চ চালিয়ে যাচ্ছি, আর যেতে চাই ইনশাআল্লাহ! 💙
