ইন্টারভিউ তে প্রায়ই আমাদের অনেক সহজ, কমন এবং ফান্ডামেন্টাল প্রশ্ন করে বসে। অনেক কঠিন টপিক গুলো তখন মাথায় থাকলেও এই ছোটখাটো জিনিসগুলো নিয়ে মাথা চুলকানো লাগে। তাই আজকে আমরা একটি ফান্ডামেন্টাল জিনিস নিয়ে জানবো।

আমরা যদি html ডকুমেন্ট সম্পর্কে জানি তাহলে ডকুমেন্ট এর একদম শুরুতে declaration দেখে থাকি। এটি আসলে কেন ব্যবহার করা হয়? বা কি বুঝি আমরা এর মাধ্যেমে চলুন জেনে নেয়া যাক:

কোনো html tag কিংবা এলিমেন্ট নয়। এটি একধরনের ইন্সট্রাকশন যা ব্রাউজার কে জানিয়ে দেয় সে কি ধরনের ডকুমেন্ট এক্সপেক্ট করবে।

সব ধরনের html ডকুমেন্ট দিয়ে শুরু করা হয়। html এর কোন ভার্সনে ডকুমেন্ট টি লিখা হয়েছে তার ওপর নির্ভর করে এটি পরিবর্তিত হয়ে থাকে।

কিছু উদাহরন এর মাধ্যেমে আমরা আর একটু বুঝার চেষ্টা করি:









ডকুমেন্ট এর শুরুতে উপরোক্ত ৪টার যেকোনো টা থাকলেই ব্রাউজার বুঝতে পারে এটি একটি HTML5 ডকুমেন্ট যার ফলে এটি বুঝতে পারে এখানে কোন এলিমেন্ট গুলো ভ্যালিড হবে।

যেমন ট্যাগটি HTML5, HTML4, এবং XHTML doctypes এর জন্য ভ্যালিড। ট্যাগটি HTML4, এবং XHTML doctypes এর জন্য ভ্যালিড হলেও HTML5 এর জন্য ভ্যালিড না। অপরদিকে ট্যাগটি HTML5 doctype এর জন্য ভ্যালিড হলেও HTML4 এবং XHTML এর জন্য ভ্যালিড না।

HTML5 এর doctype ডিক্লারেশন টি হলো । HTML এর আগের ভার্সন গুলোর doctype ডিক্লারেশন এর চাইতে এটি অনেকটা সহজভাবে মনে রাখা যায়।

আমি এটি uppercase এ লিখলেও এটি কিন্তু মোটেও case-sensitive নয়। সুতরাং আমরা এটি uppercase, lowercase অথবা sentance case হিসেবে লিখলেও ব্রাউজার এটিকে একটি html doctype ডিক্লারেশন হিসেবে বুঝতে পারবে।

আজকের জন্য এতটুকুই। চেষ্টা করবো যদি সময় ম্যানেজ করে এভাবে কিছু ফান্ডামেন্টাল বিষয় নিয়ে লিখার। Have a Good Day 🚀
