Many of my students hesitate to write complex sentences in IELTS tasks 1 and 2 . The reason is their unwillingness to apply sentential skills in building complex sentences. This happens due to lack of interest and practice in writing.
I suggest them to make # 1. use of relative pronouns such as: that, which, who, whose and #2. use of conjunctions (subordinating) such as: while, as, where, when, until, before, because, although, unless, since, whenever, if, through, #3. use of conditionals for both real and unreal situations and many more........

False/not given questions in IELTS:
these two types seem the same once you find the answer. If the same or paraphrased sentence is not mentioned then you must go for 'not given'. Also, false is completely not true and against the given idea which must be mentioned in the paragraph.
