IELTS Speaking Test; Part #2:
Question:
Describe something naughty you did when you were a child.

- Why you did it;
- and explain how your parents felt about it.
Answer:
Well, that's quite an interesting topic! When I was a child, I recall a particular instance when I did something naughty that still makes me chuckle when I think about it. I was around eight years old when this happened, and my little sister was five.
One day, my parents had to go to work, so they left us with our grandparents. After they left, my sister and I were playing outside in the backyard. That's when I got the mischievous idea to sneak into my grandparents' bedroom and play with their things. I knew I shouldn't have done it, but the thought of doing something naughty was too tempting to resist.
I found a bottle of my grandfather's aftershave, and without thinking twice, I poured some of it onto my sister's hands and mine. The smell was so strong that it made our eyes water, but we thought it was hilarious. We started giggling and rolling around on the bed, enjoying the sensation of being naughty.
However, our laughter quickly turned into tears when my grandparents found out what we had done. They scolded us and made us promise never to do it again. My parents were not pleased when they found out about our misbehavior, but they laughed it off after realizing that no harm was done.
Looking back on it now, I realize that what I did was not only naughty but also disrespectful. I should have known better than to invade someone else's privacy and play with their belongings without permission. However, at the time, I was just a mischievous kid who was trying to have some fun.
In conclusion, even though my parents and grandparents were not happy about what I did, I think they understood that it was just a harmless mistake. Nonetheless, I learned my lesson and never did anything like that again.
