Once again, we were able to complete our second workshop "The Importance of Education" with extreme success! The various purposes of the workshop were:

-> Encouraging primary level children to focus more on their studies
-> Prioritizing children's interests
-> To explain to the guardians that it is equally important to educate both boys and girls.
-> Telling children about how they can learn online by making use of online platforms like different youtube channels.

With everyone's cooperation we have been able to successfully explain these to everyone. Thank you everyone who attended this workshop and special thanks to the authorities of Government Primary School who connected us with their students. We would also like to thank our wonderful special guest, Azhar Uddin Shimul, who brightened the workshop with his inspiring words despite his busy schedule. With your cooperation, we hope to build a better future by bringing a positive social change!

Online education has become a viable and exciting method for instructional delivery in the Global Business society that runs on a 24/7 (24 hours a day /7 days a week) schedule because it provides students with great flexibility.
With the increased availability of the internet and Computer technology students are able to access information anytime and any place that would normally be available only through a traditional classroom.
Studies have shown that students learns just as effectively in an online classroom as they do in the traditional classroom.

Possible negative effect of learning through online are that some students may prefer to attend traditional classes with an instructor who teaches and guides them through the course and also find access to the necessary technology challenging and the availability of Technical Support.

The education of children who differ socially, mentally or physically from the average to such an extent that they require modification of usual school practices that's called special education. It's also known as special needs education.

Special education aims to provide accommodated Education for students with disabilities such as learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), communication disorders, emotional and behavioral disorders (such as ASHD), physical disabilities and many more. It is designed to ensure that the special Childs are provided with an environment that allows them to be educated effectively.

Shikkha will be featuring Mr. Azhar Uddin Shimul as the special guest for a Workshop on "Education that connects" for the Students and parents on 23rd Nov @ 6PM.
He is a dynamic Journalist with more than 4 years of progressive experience in Reporting and presenting. Currently, he is working as a freelance journalist in media!

It brings significant economic returns for a country.
Education gives us financial security.

The growth of the economy creates a good image for a nation in front of the world.
Bangladesh can see this dream if every child goes to school or is connected with education.

World Children’s Day was first established in 1954 as Universal Children's Day and is celebrated on 20th November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare.

During the pandemic, it has become difficult to celebrate the day but remarkably, in spite of COVID-19, the Ogun State government remains committed to the well-being of children & commemorated the May 27, 2021, Universal Children's day with the theme: "Promoting Girl Child Education For Sustainable Development " through virtual App.

Education is a power. We all need to let children know about the importance of education instead of educating them to be rich. We need to educate them to be happy so that when they grow up, they will know the value of things and not just the price. Happy Universal Children's Day!
