Fully-Funded UK Master's — Chevening Scholarship 2027/28 Is Open (3 Weeks Left to Apply)

Chevening is the UK government's flagship scholarship, funded by the FCDO, covering a full one-year master's at any UK university, in any subject — built around leadership potential, not just grades.

Key details:
✅ Covers — full tuition, a monthly living stipend (varies by city), return flights to the UK, and an arrival allowance
✅ Academic requirement — an undergraduate degree that qualifies you for a UK master's, completed at least 2 years before the deadline (each university sets its own specific grade bar)
✅ Eligibility — Bangladeshi citizens with at least 2 years' work experience (2,800+ hours, paid or unpaid) after your degree
✅ What's required — passport, transcripts, CV, 2 references, 4 essays (leadership, networking, course choice, career plan), and your top 3 UK course choices
✅ Deadline — 6 October 2026, 11:00 UTC (5:00 PM Bangladesh time) — apply via chevening.org

Bangladesh is a Chevening-eligible country. In return, you commit to going back to Bangladesh for at least 2 years after your scholarship ends.

How Edroll Helps:
— We assess your profile honestly and tell you where you actually stand for Chevening this cycle, instead of you guessing.
— Every one of the 4 essays is judged differently — we help you build answers that speak to what the panel is looking for, not a generic template.
— Essay Support — leadership, networking and career-plan essays are where most strong candidates lose marks; we help you get them right.
— End-to-End Guidance — from your 3 course choices through interview prep (if shortlisted) to visa support after the award.

Talk to Edroll Education today and find out if Chevening 2027/28 is within reach for you.

🎓 Good news if you're planning to study in the US: a rule that would've made it harder to stay just got blocked — right before it was due to start.

Here's the story, simply:
✅ The US government had a new rule ready that would've ended "Duration of Status" — the system that currently lets F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors stay in the US for their whole program, as long as they follow the rules.
✅ In its place, students would've been capped at 4 years, then forced to file extra paperwork just to keep studying.
✅ That rule was set to start on September 15, 2026 — today.
✅ On September 14, a US federal judge (F. Dennis Saylor IV) blocked it, saying the government hadn't properly explained the change.

What this means for you:
Right now, the old system stays — no 4-year cap, no extra extension filing. If you're planning a US degree, this is one less hurdle standing in your way.

One honest note: this block is temporary, not final. The case is still open, with the next hearing on October 2, 2026, so the rule could resurface later in some form. That's exactly why it pays to apply with guidance that's tracking these changes as they happen — not planning around old news.

If the US is on your list, there's no better time to start building your application — while the system is open and working the way it's meant to.

Talk to Edroll Education about your US study plan.

One country is not a strategy.

Meet Khaled Jisan, Business Development Manager at Edroll Education. He builds and manages the university and partner network across Australia, the UK, USA, Canada and New Zealand — so that when a student asks what their options are, the answer is a real shortlist built around their profile, not around the only door we have open.

Why your destination should be chosen, not defaulted:
✅ The same profile can be strong in one country and weak in another — entry requirements, funding thresholds and visa risk tiers all differ
✅ A student built for a funded research route in the UK gains nothing from being pushed into a coursework degree somewhere else
✅ Post-study work rights, PR pathways and family rights vary sharply by destination — and that decision is made before you apply, not after

How Edroll Helps:
✅ Profile-first assessment across many destinations before any country is recommended
✅ A wide, actively managed partner network, so shortlists are built on fit rather than on whichever institution we happen to represent
✅ Scholarship and funding matching at partner universities, including research pathways with supervisor outreach
✅ Honest eligibility screening — if a destination doesn't work for your profile, we tell you at the start, not after you've invested a year
✅ One accountable counsellor from assessment through visa decision and pre-departure briefing

Your options should be chosen for you. Not left over.

Compliance isn't paperwork. It's someone's next five years.

Meet Mahir Rafid, Compliance Manager at Edroll Education. He studied in the UK and in New Zealand — filled the forms, waited on the decisions, learned the systems from the inside. Today, every UK and NZ file that leaves Edroll passes through his desk before it reaches a case officer.

Why the compliance check decides the outcome:
✅ Most refusals aren't about dishonesty — they're about a date that doesn't match, a deposit that appeared too suddenly, or a translation that was never notarised
✅ Every file has to satisfy two different readers: the university's admissions team and an immigration officer, who don't want the same things
✅ Once a file is lodged, there is often no second chance to explain — so the fixing has to happen before submission

How Edroll Helps:
✅ Full internal compliance audit against UKVI and INZ evidence standards before anything is lodged
✅ Funds and sponsor verification — seasoning timeline, source-of-funds chain, sponsor capacity proof
✅ Document integrity check: notarised translations, name-discrepancy affidavits, IELTS validity, medical and police clearance coordination
✅ Migration-partner review and Decision-Ready certification as the final gate
✅ Enrolment compliance too — because a visa grant only matters if the university can actually enrol you

We don't learn about mistakes when the refusal letter arrives. We catch them before lodgement.

Getting the visa is not the finish line — it's the first checkpoint.

Meet Niloy Rabbi, Destination Manager – Australia at Edroll Education. Six years across the UK, Canada and Australia, now leading the Australia team through the toughest visa environment Bangladeshi students have faced in 21 years — and planning every file backwards from where the student wants to be five years after graduation.

Why course choice decides more than admission:
✅ Bangladesh moved to Evidence Level 3 in January 2026 — every document is now manually verified, and case officers can refuse without asking for more information
✅ The wrong course still gets you to Australia — it just leaves you stranded when the 485 Post-Study Work Visa runs out
✅ Skills lists, state nomination criteria and PR pathways all start with a decision you make before you ever apply

How Edroll Helps:
✅ Course-fit analysis matched to your academic background and career goal — not to commission
✅ Career-pivot logic built into your Genuine Student statement, so the file reads as one coherent story
✅ Research pathway support — MRes, PhD and supervisor outreach for students who want a funded route
✅ Six-month fund seasoning plan, AUD 29,710 living cost proof, and a migration-lawyer audit before lodgement
✅ Post-study planning from day one: Subclass 485, SkillSelect EOI strategy and state nomination guidance

Anyone can find you a course. We find you the one that still makes sense after you graduate.

A visa refusal is not bad luck. It's a file that wasn't ready.

Meet Hasibur Rahman, Destination Manager – New Zealand at Edroll Education. With more than six years in counselling, visa strategy and compliance across Australia and New Zealand, Hasibur leads the team behind Edroll's strongest visa record — files built to be approved by Immigration New Zealand on the first attempt.

Why this matters for Bangladeshi students:
✅ Around 45% of Bangladeshi NZ student visa files are refused — against a global approval rate of 84%
✅ Most refusals trace back to the same fixable gaps: a weak Visa Letter, unseasoned funds, or documents that don't line up
✅ INZ doesn't reward hope. It rewards evidence — and evidence can be prepared

How Edroll Helps:
✅ Profile diagnostic and course-fit mapping across NZQA-approved universities — Bachelor's, Master's and PhD
✅ Funds and sponsor strategy: tuition + NZD 20,000 living cost, fund seasoning plan and Funds Transfer Scheme advice
✅ A personalised, evidence-backed Visa Letter — no templates
✅ Migration-lawyer audit before lodgement, so errors are caught before INZ sees them
✅ One accountable counsellor from first consultation to pre-departure briefing — no handoffs

Aotearoa is welcoming. We make sure your file is too.
