Definition: Conjunction
A conjunction is a connecting word that joins words, phrases, clauses, or sentences and shows the relationship between them.
Conjunctions are mainly of two types:
1. Coordinating Conjunction
A coordinating conjunction joins two or more words, phrases, or clauses of equal grammatical importance and shows the relationship between them.
Examples: for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so (FANBOYS)
Example:
Tom and Jerry are friends.
I was tired, but I finished my homework.

2. Subordinating Conjunction
A subordinating conjunction joins a subordinate clause to a principal clause and shows the relationship between them. A subordinate clause may function as a noun clause, an adjective clause, or an adverb clause.
Examples: because, if, when, while, after, before, although, since, unless, until
Example:
I stayed home because it was raining.

Definition of Adverb:
An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, an adjective, another adverb, or a whole sentence. It tells us how, when, where, how often, or to what degree something happens.
1. Adverb modifies: a verb →
এটি Verb সম্পর্কে অতিরিক্ত তথ্য দেয়।
Example: She speaks softly -সে আস্তে কথা বলে।
2. Adverb modifies an adjective → এটি Adjective সম্পর্কে অতিরিক্ত তথ্য দেয়।
Example: The water is very cold. -পানি খুব ঠান্ডা।
3. Adverb modifies another adverb → এটি Adverb সম্পর্কে অতিরিক্ত তথ্য দেয়।
Example: He runs very fast. -সে খুব দ্রুত দৌড়ায়।
4. Adverb modifies a whole sentence → এi Adverb পুরো বাক্য সম্পর্কে বক্তার মতামত, অনুভূতি বা দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি প্রকাশ করে।
Example: Fortunately, we have arrived on time.
সৌভাগ্যবশত, আমরা সময়মতো পৌঁছেছি।
Adverb যেসব প্রশ্নের উত্তর দেয় :
• How? (কীভাবে?) → carefully, quickly
• When? (কখন?) → today, yesterday
• Where? (কোথায়?) → here, outside
• How often? (কতবার?) → always, often
• To what degree? (কতটুকু/কোন মাত্রায়?) → very, quite, too
