ওয়েব ডিজাইন বলতে মূলত কোনো ওয়েবসাইট দেখতে কেমন হবে সেটা নির্ধারণ এবং সেভাবে তৈরি করাকে বোঝানো হয়। আর যারা এই কাজটি করেন তারা হলেন ওয়েব ডিজাইনার। যেকোনো কোম্পানি বৃহৎ কিংবা ক্ষুদ্র, চায় নিজেদের একটি ওয়েবসাইট থাকুক। তারা তখন খুঁজে বেড়ান ডিজাইনার হতে পারে সেটা ফ্রিলেন্সিং মার্কেটপ্লেস কিংবা অন্য কোথাও। অনেকেরই ধারণা প্রোগ্রামিং এ পূর্ব-অভিজ্ঞতা ছাড়া ওয়েব ডেভেলপমেন্টের কাজ করা যায়না। এইচটিএমএল, সিএসএস, পিএইচপি, এবং জাভাস্ক্রিপ্ট এর বেসিক কিছু ধারণা এবং তার সাথে কিছু থিম আর প্লাগইন তৈরি এবং কাস্টমাইজ করতে জানলেই ওয়ার্ডপ্রেস দিয়ে একটি উচ্চ মানসম্পন্ন ওয়েবসাইট তৈরি করা সম্ভব। এদিকে আবার অনেকে দেখা যায় কাজ শিখেও সঠিক গাইডলাইনের অভাবে বেশিদূর এগোতে পারছেন না। আপনাদের সকল প্রয়োজনের কথা মাথায় রেখে আমরা এই কোর্সটি সাজিয়েছি। কোর্সটিতে ওয়েব ডিজাইন এবং ডেভেলপমেন্টের যাবতীয় সবকিছুই অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়েছে।

বিভিন্ন ধরণের ওয়েবসাইট এবং তাদের ভিন্ন ধরণের ডিজাইন

১। ই-কমার্স ওয়েবসাইট

ই-কমার্স ওয়েবসাইট অনলাইনে ক্রেতাদের কেনাকাটা করতে সহায়তা করে। জনপ্রিয় কিছু ওয়েবসাইট হচ্ছে - আমাজন, ই-ভ্যালি, দারাজ ইত্যাদি।



ই-কমার্স ওয়েবসাইট ডিজাইনঃ ই-কমার্স ওয়েবসাইটগুলোতে সাধারন ওয়েবসাইট এর মতন হোম পেজ, কন্টাক্ট পেজ এবং প্রয়োজনীয় পেজ গুলোর সাথে থাকে কেনাকাটা কন্ট্রোল করার জন্য ভিন্ন একটি পেজ। এখানে মানুষ দেখতে পারবে তারা কি কি কিনেছে এবং তা থেকে কিছু বাতিল বা যোগ করবে কি না। তার সাথে থাকে পেমেন্ট পেজ। তাছাড়া এ ধরণের ওয়েবসাইটে ডিস্কাউন্ট সহ অন্যান্য জিনিসের ডিজাইন যোগ করা হয় সময় মতন। সার্চ বার এবং প্রোডাক্ট পেজ খুব সহজ ভাবে তুলে ধরা মূল দায়িত্বের একটি। কেননা ক্রেতারা যত দ্রুত তার পন্য খুঁজে পাবে তত ভালো ওয়েবসাইট হিসেবে গন্য হবে।

২। পার্সোনাল ওয়েবসাইট

পার্সোনাল ওয়েবসাইট তাদের জন্য যারা নিজেদের কোনো কাজ বা আওয়াজ পৃথিবীর সামনে তুলে ধরতে চায়।

পার্সোনাল ওয়েবসাইট ডিজাইনঃ পার্সোনাল ওয়েবসাইট গুলো খুবি সাধারন হয়ে থাকে। এতে নিজের পরিচয় , কন্টাক্ট পেজ এবং কাজের পেজ বা পোর্টফলিও থেকে থাকে। এতে সাধারনত SEO এর তেমন প্রয়োজন হয় না। পার্সোনাল ওয়েবসাইট সাধারনত নিজের প্রমোশনের জন্য ব্যভার করা হয়। তাই এর ডিজাইন সব সময় পরিচয়ের মুল অংশ সমূহ এবং কাজের পেজে কাজ গুলো হাইলাইটে রেখে বানানো হয়।

৩। পোর্টফলিও ওয়েবসাইট

পোর্টফলিও ওয়েবসাইট অনেকটা পার্সোনাল ওয়েবসাইটের মতন। পোর্টফলিও ওয়েবসাইট এ পোর্টফলিও থাকতে পারে নিজের, দলের কিংবা কম্পানীর।

পোর্টফলিও ওয়েবসাইট ডিজাইনঃ পোর্টফলিও ওয়েবসাইট এ পরিচয় , কন্টাক্ট পেজ এবং কাজের পেজ বা পোর্টফলিও থেকে থাকে। এছাড়া এখানের কিছু আলাদা অংশ থাকে যেখানে বিস্তারিত ভাবে বলা হয় পোর্টফলিও এর কাজ গুলো কখন কিভাবে করা হয়েছে। ক্যটাগরি অনুযায়ি কাজ সাজানো পোর্টফলিও ওয়েবসাইট এর একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। এছাড়া কাজ স্লাইডশো অথবা ভিন্ন ধরণের এনিমেশন দিয়ে তুলে ধরাও ডিজাইনের অন্যতম একটি অংশ

৪। ব্লগ ওয়েবসাইট

ব্লগ ওয়েবসাইট সর্বদা নতুন তথ্য, আর্টিকেল, ছবি কিংবা খবর দিয়ে মানুষদের পড়তে বা ওয়েবসাইটে থাকতে কিংবা পুনরায় আসতে উৎসাহিত করে।

ব্লগ ওয়েবসাইট ডিজাইনঃ ব্লগ ওয়েবসাইট খুবি সাধারন ডিজাইন থেকে খুবি ডাইনামিক ডিজাইনের হতে পারে। যা নির্ভর করে টার্গেট অডিয়েন্স এর উপর। এখানের ডিজাইনে ব্লক আকারে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন তথ্য বা ছবি থাকে। এতে টাইটেল এবং থাম্বনেইল দিয়ে দেয়া থাকে একেকটি অংশ। সার্চ বার বা নেভিগেশন এখানের ডিজাইনের অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ।
