Assalamualaikum,
Today, we are going to share some crucial aspects of the IELTS test because without keeping this in your mind, you will be suffered badly on the day of your exam. This inconvenience, eventually, will likely minimize the chances of securing your desired score irrespective of the sufficient preparation you made.
Let's come to the point, on the day of the IELTS Exam, what are you allowed to do? Take time to read this out as it will assist you to a greater extent.
# Sleep & Eat well:
1. before the day of your exam, make sure you are well-rested and have eaten properly to keep your concentration during the test.
# Clothes:
2.Wear comfortable clothing, though, you are not marked on your appearance for any part of the test.
# Drink:
3. You can take a drink into the exam room only in a transparent bottle.
# Arrive Early:
4. You will require to go through several formalities include check-in, therefore, make sure you arrive with plenty of time to spare.
# TOILET:
5. There is no break in between the test of listening, reading, and writing. So make sure you go to the toilet before you enter the exam room. If you need the toilet during the test, put your hand up, and the invigilator will let you go ( neither you will be given extra time for that nor you can move in between the tests).
# No Gadgets:
6. You will not be allowed to take a phone or any other electronic items into the test room.
# Pen, Pencil, & Eraser:
7. You should take at least two pencils, one pen, and an eraser just in case of emergency. However, you will be provided with those items. Extra paper( they will provide), tissue, dictionary, etc are not permitted in the test room. Moreover, you can take only your ID ( Passport) in your speaking test.
# ID:
8. Take your ID ( passport) on both the days of your exam ( Listening, Reading, and Writing+ Speaking)
# Clock & Listen to Instructions:
9. There will be a clock in the exam room, you can not take a watch into your test room. Listen carefully to all instructions given before your test starts.
# Disability:
10. If you have any form of disability that will affect your test, you must notify the test center well before your test date.
Be Calm & Confident at All Time
DON'T!!!!!
# Do not cheat ( you will be disqualified either on the day of your exam or you won't be able to get your result)
# Do not bring a dictionary or relevant documents.
# Do not take the test paper home.
# Do not take any part of the question paper home with you.
# Do not bring any form of learning aid/ listening aid on your test day.
# Do not continue writing after the invigilator tells you to stop. If you continue writing even one word or a sentence, you could have your whole test invalidated.
