Every child has a unique strength. Some lead, some create, some thrive through teamwork, and others discover their confidence by simply being given the opportunity to try.

At Glenrich Satarkul, our House system gives learners a community beyond the classroom, where friendships grow, healthy competition inspires, and every contribution matters. Our four Houses, Aqua, Terra, Ignis and Ventus, bring learners together through a shared spirit of belonging and teamwork.

On 3 August 2026, students of Grades 1 to 3 came together for a special House Assembly, "House Introductions", marking the beginning of their House journey.

Through an engaging introduction to House mottos, activities, competitions and the points system, our young learners discovered how their individual efforts can contribute to something bigger.

House activities are not simply about winning. They are about learning to work together, embrace challenges, celebrate one another, show sportsmanship and take pride in belonging to a team.

For our youngest House members, every competition is an opportunity to learn, every point is a contribution, and every challenge is a chance to grow.

The Houses have been introduced. The journey has begun. Let the spirit of teamwork, friendship and healthy competition shine. 🏆

Inclusive Education Begins with Understanding 🤝

Every learner is different. Understanding these differences is the first step towards creating classrooms where every child feels supported and has the opportunity to thrive.

As part of Glenrich Satarkul's ongoing professional development initiatives, 90 Primary and Pre-Primary teachers took part in a half-day session on “Inclusive Education for Mainstream Teachers” on 15 August, led by Professor Nazmul Haq.

The session explored practical ways to recognise diverse learning needs, create inclusive learning experiences, and support every learner.

Our teachers left with greater awareness, practical strategies, and renewed confidence to make inclusion part of everyday teaching.

From Practice to a World Record 🌍🏆

When determination meets practice, extraordinary things can happen.

We are proud to celebrate Ahnaf Ibne Mahmud, Grade 5B, for earning a place in the International World Records of Excellence with an incredible display of balance, coordination and perseverance.

On 29 April 2026, 10-year-old Ahnaf achieved the world record for Maximum Stairs Walked Down With a Hula Hoop Spinning Around the Waist (Pre-Teen), descending 120 stair steps while continuously spinning a hula hoop around his waist.

This remarkable achievement reflects Ahnaf’s dedication, supported by his parents, especially his mother, and Ms Tania Akter, Sports Teacher. We also appreciate the teachers, staff and the entire Glenrich Satarkul community for encouraging his journey.

Ahnaf reminds us that with practice, perseverance and belief, young learners can achieve extraordinary milestones.

Shaping Young Minds. Inspiring Meaningful Change.🌍

What does it mean to be young in a world that is constantly changing? More importantly, how can young people become a force for positive change?

At Glenrich International School, Satarkul, students of Grades 8 and 9 explored these questions during a special assembly for International Youth Day on 6 August 2026.

Through multimedia presentations, videos and an engaging Q&A, students reflected on youth leadership, community service, responsible choices and the courage to turn ideas into meaningful action.

The discussion encouraged students to share their perspectives on how young people can bring change to their communities, what community service means to them, and who inspires them as youth icons.

At Glenrich, we believe preparing young people for the future means giving them the voice to question, the confidence to lead, and the courage to make a difference.

Growing Through Change, One Small Step at a Time. 🌱💛

Change is woven into every child’s journey. A new classroom, a different routine, a new friendship, or an unfamiliar moment can bring feelings that are sometimes difficult to understand.

Our Grades 1–3 Special Assembly on “Dealing with Changes” at Glenrich International School, Satarkul, gave young learners a safe space to pause, reflect, and express those feelings.

Through a wellbeing session, story-led discussions, and the “My Calm-Down Toolbox” activity, students explored simple ways to recognise their emotions, find calm, and approach change with greater confidence.

Because growing up is not about having all the answers. It is about learning to understand ourselves, finding the courage to adapt, and knowing that asking for support is always okay.

At Glenrich, wellbeing is an essential part of learning. When children feel heard, understood, and supported, they are empowered to navigate life’s changes with resilience and self-awareness.

The Glenrich Satarkul After-School Programme (ASP) 2026–27 gives learners the opportunity to explore new interests, develop meaningful skills, and discover new passions beyond the classroom.

From Arts and Crafts, Dance and Public Speaking to Football, Basketball, Swimming, Skating, Taekwondo, Debate, and Robotics, there’s something for every learner to explore.

Pre-Primary learners build confidence, coordination, and creativity. Primary learners strengthen teamwork, communication, discipline, and creative thinking. Senior learners develop leadership, resilience, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Learners can choose up to three activities, subject to interest and availability, creating an experience that reflects their individual interests and aspirations.

Every child’s educational journey begins with a first connection.

Glenrich Satarkul welcomed the parents of our Playgroup and KG2 learners to an Introductory Meeting, marking the beginning of a new chapter of learning, growth, and discovery.

Parents had the opportunity to meet their children’s educators, visit their classrooms, and get a first glimpse of the environment where their little ones would learn, explore, and grow.

From a warm welcome at the lobby to meaningful conversations in the classrooms, every moment was about building the relationships that make a child’s school journey truly special.

Where Today's Learners Meet Tomorrow's Opportunities: University of Lancashire at Glenrich Satarkul 🌍🎓

The future belongs to learners who are prepared to embrace opportunities beyond borders.

On 4 August 2026, our Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners welcomed representatives from the University of Lancashire, United Kingdom, through Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD), for an engaging university guidance session offering valuable insights into studying in the United Kingdom.

Students explored internationally recognised academic programmes, scholarship opportunities, campus life, and the support available to international learners. They also enjoyed a special video message from English cricket legend Andrew Flintoff, who inspired them to dream boldly and pursue their ambitions with confidence.

The session encouraged learners to think beyond the classroom, broadened their global perspectives, and empowered them to make informed decisions about their future.

We sincerely thank Universal College Bangladesh for making this enriching experience possible for our learners.
